To establish a social responsibility culture inColombia.

Promote and establish the ISO 26 000 as anappropriate reference in R.S , without losing theposition of the national guidance.

Encourage Colombian organizations, to use the

guidance and make a conscious implementation ofsocial responsibility, because some organizations usedthe social responsibility just for advertising purposes

Make alliances with International experts for supportthe implementation of social responsibility in our

country. Try to stop private initiatives that comes to our

country, some of them are not legitimate and othersare not building under consensus

Coordinated and centralize government initiatives inISO 26 000 and the National uidance.

Colombia has a greatmovement aroundsocial responsibility,the big challenge is tounify the initiativesaround socialresponsibility, and

achieve therecognition that thestandards need, andalso establish a socialresponsibility cultureto avoid advertising

issues.

ICONTEC, as theColombian NationalStandard Body,expected to meetthe needs of the

Colombianorganizations thatwant to have acertificate in socialresponsibility,without goingagainst the natureof it.
