The combination of ServiceOriented Architectures and Business Processes creates an enactmentenvironment in which processes can be deployed and executedautomatically. From a managerial and technical point of view, theinterpretation, control and execution of a process flow happens very oftenat one point in the organizational and IT structure. This creates aninflexible environment in which control over and visibility of cross-departmental processes cannot be distributed across these organizationalentities.

The aim of this study is toformulate an analysis model which can express the security grades ofsoftware vulnerability and serve as a basis for evaluating danger level ofinformation program or filtering hazardous weaknesses of the system andimprove it to counter the threat of different danger factors. Through theutilization of fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP), we will organize thecrossover factors of the software blind spots and build an evaluationframework.

Visual secret sharing(VSS) is a visual cryptography scheme which decodes secret messagesinto several enlarged shares, and distributes them to different participants.The participants can recover the secret messages by stacking their shares,and then secret message can be revealed by human visual sensitivity.Afterward some researchers start to research size invariant scheme, andapply to encode grayscale images such as scenic photos or pictures, notonly binary messages.

2014. Information Processing Letters. At ACISP 2012, a novel deterministic identity-based (aggregate)signature scheme was proposed that does not rely on bilinear pairing. The scheme was formally proven to beexistentially unforgeable under an adaptive chosen message and identity attack. The security was provenunder the strong RSA assumption in the random oracle model. In this paper, unfortunately, we show that thesignature scheme is universally forgeable, i.e., an adversary can recover the private key of a user and use it togenerate forged signatures on any messages of its choice having on average eight genuine signatures.

Amazon Web Services this week rolled out a new cloud-based dataanalytics tool named Kenesis, which can analyze massive amounts of datain real time and be paid for by the hour. Kenesis is an application that sitsin the cloud and receives data from any number of sources: databaseswithin Amazon's cloud, like warehouse tool Redshift; NoSQL databaseDynamoDB; or relational database RDS. It then performs analytics on thedata and spits out returns on the data. AWS developed the program usingits own combination of hardware and software. The system is scalable too,able to handle up to terabytes of data an hour from potentially thousandsof sources.

2013. Telemedicine and e-Health. This pilot study explores the patient-centered demand for mobile phone-based health (mobile health [m-health]) services in the rural United States by documenting rural patients'access to mobile phones and patients' willingness to receive m-health services. Subjects and Methods: Ananonymous institutional review board–approved survey was completed by patients visiting two ruralpharmacies in Nebraska from August to October 2011. Patients who volunteered to complete the surveyprovided their demographic data, disease state information, health status, mobile phone access, andwillingness to receive (in terms of using and giving time to) m-health services.

2013. Telemedicine and e-Health. Rates of chronic diseases will continue to rise in developing countriesunless effective and cost-effective interventions are implemented. This review aims to discuss the impact ofmobile health (m-health) on chronic disease outcomes in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC). Materialsand Methods: Systematic literature searches were performed using CENTRAL, MEDLINE, EMBASE, andLILACS databases and gray literature. Scientific literature was searched to identify controlled studiesevaluating cell phone voice and text message interventions to address chronic diseases in adults in low- ormiddle-income countries.

This paperpresents a stroke rehabilitation (SR) system for the upper limbs, developedas an interactive virtual environment (IVE) based on a commercial 3Dvision system (a Microsoft Kinect), a humanoid robot (an Aldebaran'sNao), and devices producing ergonometric signals. In one environment,the rehabilitation routines, developed by specialists, are presented to thepatient simultaneously by the humanoid and an avatar inside the IVE. Thepatient follows the rehabilitation task, while his avatar copies his gesturesthat are captured by the Kinect 3D vision system.

While contributing to animproved continuity of care, Shared Electronic Health Record (EHR)systems may also lead to information overload of healthcare providers.Document-oriented architectures, such as the commonly employed IHEXDS profile, which only support information retrieval at the level ofdocuments, are particularly susceptible for this problem. The objective ofthe EHR-ARCHE project was to develop a methodology and a prototype toefficiently satisfy healthcare providers’ information needs when accessinga patient's Shared EHR during a treatment situation. We especially aimedto investigate whether this objective can be reached by integrating EHRArchetypes into an IHE XDS environment.

Proponents claim that NEHRS willstreamline care, reduce mistakes and cut costs. However, building these systems has proved highlyproblematic. Using recent developments in Australia as an example, we argue that a hitherto unexaminedsource of difficulty concerns the way NEHRS disrupt the moral orders governing the production, ownership,use of and responsibility for health records.

Journal of Optical Communications and Networking. We propose two dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA)algorithms by considering three dimensions, i.e., time slot, subcarrier, and bit allocation, to minimize thetransmitting power of optical network units (ONUs) in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing accesspassive optical networks (OFDMA-PONs). In the first proposed algorithm, we make use of the three-dimensional DBA algorithm from wireless OFDM, modify it according to the characteristics of the fiber channel,and apply it to upstream access in OFDMA-PONs to reduce the transmitting power of ONUs.

We have developed a battery hardware-in-the-loop (HIL)setup, which can expedite the design and evaluation of power management controllers for hybrid electricvehicles (HEVs) in a novel cost- and time-effective manner. The battery dynamics have a significant effect onthe HEV power management controller design; therefore, physical batteries are included in the simulation loopfor greater simulation fidelity. We use Buckingham's Pi Theorem in the scaled-down battery HIL setup toreduce development and testing efforts, while maintaining the flexibility and fidelity of the control loop.

Designing a future smart city (FSC) that copes with thereduction of CO2 has become one of the urgent tasks of the next 20 years.One promising approach to achieve FSC is to combine appropriate landuse (compact city with energy efficient buildings and photovoltaic panels(PVs)), transportation (electric vehicles (EVs) and public transportationsystem) and energy systems (smart grid systems), because of theinteraction between these elements. However, there are few models whichsimulate these elements in an integrated manner.

Expert Systems with Applications. Large deployment of Electric Vehicles(EVs) adds new challenges in the operation of a microgrid. Assuming thata number of EV owners allow their batteries to charge when their cars areparked, this paper proposes an approach that aims to find suitableindividual active power set-points corresponding to the hourly charging rateof each EV battery connected to the microgrid. A multi agent system basedcontroller is designed to find these active power set points for optimalpower management of EVs, distributed energy resources in the microgrid,and the loads.
