MUSICAL GENRES

A music genre is a conventional category that identifies some pieces of musics belonging to a shared tradition or set of conventions It is to be distinguished from form and musical style, although in practice these terms are sometimes used interchangeably.

1-Vocal genre:Vocal Music

Vocal music is a type of music performed by one or more singers, with or without instrumental accompaniment (a cappella), in which singing provides the main focus of the piece. Music which employs singing but does not feature it prominently is generally considered instrumental music (e.g. the wordless women's choir in the final movement of Holst's The Planets) as is music without singing.

Vocal genre:Vocal Music

An instrumental is a musical composition or recording without lyrics, or singing, although it might include some inarticulate vocal input; the music is primarily or exclusively produced by musical instruments.

Instrumental genre:Instrumental music

In the tradition of Western music , secular music (also called secular, worldly or secular ) music is all designed to be sung , played or performed outside of liturgical or religious contexts. It is therefore a musical category is defined negatively, in the sense that it is defined as the opposite to that music category to which belongs sacred music , which is the proper liturgical and religious music category

This genre applies to music that serves as a background to important events, like conmemorations, shows and opening ceremonies. The olympic hymn is an example of this genre

Cinematographic Genre

Is when motion picture sound tracks are used to reinforce the films message, maximising the sentiments and the emotions in the script

Theatre genre

Stage music is used in artistic expressions acted out on a stage, as in plays, operas , musicals, zarzuelas, dance or ballet.

Advertising genre

Used for Tv and Radio, is similir to cinematographic genre. It conbine sounds and pictures
