No podemos quedarnos allí. Amen! Contigo, Rev. Wilson Cuevas, Pastor

WHO IS JESUS TO YOU? Don Antonio Alcala Galeano, spent his life be-tween the post of minister and exile. He is credited with the following statement: "I am not anti-Catholic. That is a disgrace. I have always said that the catholic religion is the best,

the most perfect and the healthiest out of all those that men have invented..." "How many has men invented..." And surely believed to do justice and to pay homage to the Christian religion. When in reality they are commit-ting, with this affirmation, the greatest injustice. All the founders of religions that have been, are and will be on earth are men; more or less holy, but men. All but one: JESUS CHRIST. All the others have presented them-selves as men and have not sought anything else: men who have carried out a mission, founded a religion. Only Jesus, said and demonstrated with His LIFE, WORDS and DEEDS, that He alone is God. That is the big difference. There are many opinions today, more than ever, about who Jesus is. We run the risk of making ourselves an im-age or idea of whom Jesus is according to our opinion or taste. But none of that is going to change WHO JESUS IS IN REALITY! We cannot stay there. We cannot stop our way in affirm-ing what others say. It is essential to face, sooner or lat-er and respond to the question asked by the Lord to his disciples: "And you, who do you say that I am? Here the answers provided by our parents, friends, teachers, colleagues are no longer valid... Each one from their faith and freedom, has to answer this question directly. When Peter said THAT JESUS WAS THE “MESSIAH”, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD", the Lord called him blessed, because that is what had been revealed to him by the Heavenly Father. This statement of yours is not a hu-man invention, it is a message sent from Heaven...and now I tell you: "You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church, and the power of hell will not the defeat it, I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven..." Giving the keys is a sign of confidence. It was an im-mense power to those who received them... Our Church is led by a Leader who does not lose battles: Jesus Christ! I love my Church and I will always serve it with all my heart. Amen! With you, Rev. Wilson Caves, Pastor

PREPARING FOR THE BAZAAR

We are getting closer to the date of our Bazaar, which will be September 29th and 30th. We must all be involved, helping somehow, once a year. This year is the opportunity to do MORE FOR St. Pius X. What can we do? 1. Serve on one of the food or game booths 2. Being donors to the needs or expenses of the bazaar 3. Assisting in the sale of Raffle Tickets... 4. Promoting the advertising: Banner, flyers, poster... 5. Making contact with businesses who can help us... 6. Inviting and participate with your family or friends... 7. Praying for the success of this activity...

THE "EVILMEN"

A teacher asked his students: "Whom you are afraid of"? One of them said: "I fear the "evilmen". What is that? I'm not sure but it must be terrible, because my mom always says that at the end of her prayer, " but deliver us from evilmen" Blessed mothers who teach their chil-dren to pray.. but they must be careful to understand what they say, and at the speed that they do. Prayer is talking with God, "Mumbling" prayers is another thing.
