KSC has just launched our new service ‘Private Wi-Fi’ a hi-speed

Internet connection at The Fourwings Residence. All residents can

access to our 4 Mbps Internet from anywhere in the building – in

their room, common room, lobby, swimming pools and restaurant.

KSC also set up an event introducing Private Wi-Fi for residents in

the buildings. If you are interested in the service, please contact your

building manager. For other buildings, if you are interested to provide

the Private Wi-Fi service to your residents, please contact Ms. Issariya,

Web 2.0 จรงิๆแล้วกค็อืการให้ความหมายของสิง่

ทีเ่ปลีย่นไปของเทคโนโลยเีวบ็ไซต์ ซึง่กเ็หมอืนกบั

ทีส่มยัก่อน เราเปลีย่นจากโทรทศัน์ขาวด�ามาเป็นโทรทศัน์

สี โดยก�าหนดตัวเลขว่าเป็น generation ที่ 2 ของเว็บ

นั่นเอง สิ่งต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ Web 2.0 นั้น ได้แก่

Blog, Social networking ฯลฯ เป็นต้น โดย Web 2.0

application ควรจะต้องมีคุณสมบัติดังต่อไปนี้

• ให้ความส�าคัญกับผู้เข้าชมเว็บไซต์ โดยที่ผู้เข้าชมเว็บไซต์จะมีส่วนร่วมต่อเว็บไซต์มากขึ้น ไม่ใช่แค่เข้ามาชมเว็บไซต์ที่เจ้าของเว็บจัดท�าขึ้นเท่านั้น ผู้เข้าชมเว็บไซต์สามารถสร้าง content ของเว็บไซต์ขึ้นมาได้เองหรือสามารถ tag content ของเว็บไซต์ (คล้ายๆการก�าหนด keyword ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ content โดยผู้เข้าชมเว็บไซต์เป็นผู้ก�าหนดขึ้น) ตัวอย่างเช่น Digg, Flickr, Youtube , Wiki

• Web 2.0 application จะมีคุณสมบัติที่เรียกว่า RIA (Rich Internet Application) นั่นคือ Web 2.0 application จะมี user interface ที่ดียิ่งขึ้น เช่น คุณสมบัติ drag & drop ซึ่งเราใช้กับใน desktop application ทั่วๆไปก็สามารถใช้ได้บนเว็บเช่นกัน โดยเทคโนโลยีที่เกี่ยวข้องในการสร้าง RIA เช่น AJAX, Flash

• คุณสมบัติที่เรียกว่า mash-up ก็เป็นส่วนส�าคัญอีกส่วนนึงของ Web 2.0 application นั่นก็คือการที่เราสร้าง Web application ขึ้นมา แล้วเปิด service ของ Web application ให้คนอื่นๆสามารถมาใช้ได้ ยกตัวอย่างเช่น สร้าง Web application เกี่ยวกับระบบการซื้อขายสินค้าออนไลน์ขึ้นมาโดยสามารถ mash-up ระบบเข้ากับ Google maps ได้อย่างง่ายดายเพื่อที่จะท�า Web application ที่สร้างนั้นให้มีความสามารถในการซื้อขายสินค้าออนไลน์ และยังสามารถค�านวนระยะทางและเวลาในการขนส่งสินค้าไปให้ลูกค้า รวมทั้งสามารถพิมพ์แผนที่เส้นทางได้ โดยไม่จ�าเป็นต้องสร้าง Application ส�าหรับสร้างแผนที่ขึ้นมาเองเลย เทคโนโลยีที่เกี่ยวข้องคือ Feeds, RSS, SOA, Web services

ความแตกต่างระหว่าง Web 1.0 และ Web 2.0

1. Web 1.0 แก้ไขอัพเดตข้อมูลต่างๆในหน้าเว็บได้เฉพาะ Webmaster หรือคนดูแลเว็บไซต์เท่านั้น แต่ Web2.0 สามารถสื่อสารตอบโต้ได้ทั้งผู้สร้างเว็บและผู้ใช้เว็บ ดังเช่น Blog หรือการโพสต์กระทู้ต่างๆ

2. Web 1.0 สร้างเรตติง้แบบปากต่อปากได้ยาก เนือ่งจากสือ่สารทางเดียวแต่ Web 2.0 สามารถสร้างปรากฏการณ์แบบปากต่อ

Web 2.0 is a new website technology- just like when the

color TV had replaced the black and white televisions.

Web 2.0 means the second generations of websites that

included Blog and social network, for example. These

are characteristics of Web 2.0 applications:

• Visitors-centered. Websites visitors take more parts in the website.

Not only read content, they can also create their own content and tags

(keywords that relate to the content- assigned by the visitors) – these

websites are, for example, Digg, Flickr, Youtube , Wiki .

• Web 2.0 applications have RIA (Rich Internet Application)

characteristics- means they have better user interface, such as drag

& drop that we usually use in desktop application can also be found

on the websites. Examples of RIA frameworks include Ajax and Flash.

• Mash-Up is an essential part of Web 2.0 applications. It combines

data and content from more than one source into an aggregated

user experience. In Web 2.0 users can create a web application and

allow others to use. For example, you can develop online-shopping

application and mashup with Google map to create the web

application that allow online shopping with distance and time to

shops calculation with map print-out function. No need to create

map application. Mash-up relevant technologies are; Feeds, RSS,

SOA, Web services.

Key Differences between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0

1. In Web 1.0, content can be only edited by a webmaster or an

administrator while in Web 2.0 both creator and users can interact to

the content- for example content in blogs or webboards.

2. Web 1.0 hardly creates word-of-mouth as it is one way

communication. In Web 2.0 all information can be spread out by

just posting in personal blog. You may decide to buy a facial cream

because those who are satisfied with the product have recommended

in their blogs. On the other hand, you may never buy bread at a bakery

anymore when you saw someone posting pictures of mold bread from

that bakery. Web 1.0 can’t do this.

3. Web 1.0 provides a fix, static information. It can only be updated

by a webmaster. However, information in Web 2.0 can be infinitely

extended. However, the information will always be reviewed, such as

in Wikipedia where everyone can share their knowledge

10 วิธีผ่อนคลายความเครียด

ความเครียดจากการท�างานที่เหน็ดเหนื่อยมาทั้งวันค่ะ

Stress can damage your health so, this issue, we are suggesting 10

tips that keep you stress-free after had worked for the whole day.

1. Reduce or quit Caffeine drinks such as tea, coffee, Cola or chocolate.

This encourage better sleep and keep you vigorous.

2. Take healthy food. Quit having junk food.

3. Consistently working out - least 3 times/ 1 week, 30 mins minimum.

The popular exercises are walking, jogging, swimming, playing

tennis or badminton.

4. Getting enough sleep - not getting a enough sleep may result in

getting stress. If you feel stressful, try going to bed 30 minutes to 1

hour earlier than usual. If you still feel tired, try 30 minutes earlier.

You will know how long you need to sleep.

Three things that indicate that you have enough sleep are that,

you feel fresh when getting up, vigorous all days and can wake up

in the morning without an alarm clock.

5. Keep relaxing. When get stress, take a time out for a good walk

or sit in a park, play with your pets or sleep. You may also try other

skilled activities, such as mediation.

6. Actually, the best way to keep you stress free is to quit all activities.

7. No ‘high expectation.’ Most people get stress because of

disappointment. So do not set high expectation, be more realistic.

8. Be optimistic. See obstacles as challenges.

9. Seek help when you get stress. Talk to someone whom you can trust.

10. Sense of humor is the best technique to cope with stress.

1. ลดหรือเลิกบริโภคผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีคาเฟอีน เช่น ชา กาแฟ โค้ก หรือ ช็อคโกแลต จะท�าให้ท่านผ่อนคลาย และนอนหลับได้ดีขึ้น มีความกระฉับกระเฉง ในการท�างาน และกล้ามเนื้อจะไม่อ่อนล้า

3. ออกก�าลังกายอย่างสม�่าเสมอ อย่างน้อยที่สุดควรออกก�าลังกาย 3 ครั้ง ต่อ 1 สัปดาห์ โดยใช้เวลา 30 นาทีต่อครั้งเป็นอย่างต�่า การออกก�าลังกายที่เป็นที่นิยมได้แก่ การเดิน การวิ่ง การว่ายน�้า เล่นเทนนิส หรือ แบดมินตัน

4. นอนให้เพียงพอ เมื่อพักผ่อนไม่เพียงพอจะท�าให้มีโอกาสเกิดความเครียดได้สูง ถ้าท่านก�าลังเผชิญอยู่กับความเครียด ลองใช้วิธีดังต่อไปนี้ เข้านอนเร็วกว่าปกติ 30 นาที ถึง 1 ชั่วโมง หลังจากนั้นถ้ายังรู้สึกอ่อนเพลียให้เข้านอนเร็วกว่าเดิมอีก 30 นาที จากนั้นท่านจะค้นพบเวลานอนที่เหมาะสมกับตนเองที่จะท�าให้ไม่อ่อนเพลีย

สำมสิ่งที่บ่งบอกว่ำท่ำนนอนหลับเพียงพอ คือรู้สึกสดชื่นเวลาตื่นนอน รู้สึกกระฉบักระเฉงตลอดวนั และจะตืน่นอนขึน้เองในตอนเช้าโดยไม่ต้องใช้นาฬิกาปลุก

5. รูจ้กัฝึกฝนตนเองให้ผ่อนคลายอยูเ่สมอ เมือ่มคีวามเครยีดเกดิขึน้ ควรปฏบิตัิดังนี้ หาเวลาเดินเล่นหรือนั่งเล่นในสวน ใช้เวลาเล่นกับสัตว์เลี้ยงภายในบ้าน หรือการนอนหลับ ฯลฯ และยังมีกิจกรรมที่ยังต้องอาศัยทักษะเฉพาะด้านที่ท่านสามารถเรียนรู้ได้ เช่น การนั่งสมาธิ

6. จริง ๆ แล้ว หนึ่งในวิธีที่จะผ่อนคลายความเครียดได้ดีที่สุดคือ การงดเว้นการท�ากิจกรรมต่าง ๆ

7. ไม่ควรตัง้ความหวงัให้สงูเกนิไป คนส่วนใหญ่เกดิความเครยีดเนือ่งจากการไม่สมหวัง ฉะนั้น ไม่ควรตั้งความหวังไว้สูง ควรตั้งความหวังให้ใกล้เคียงกับความเป็นจริง

8. มองโลกในแง่ดี และเปลี่ยนอุปสรรคให้เป็นเรื่องท้าทาย

9. เมื่อเกิดความเครียดพยายามหาที่ปรึกษา พูดคุยกับคนที่ไว้ใจได้
