10 reflexiones sobre internet para profesionales
DESCRIPTION
It's been one year since I published this presentation, and six since I started this blog. These are my conclusions on how to use the Internet as a professional: #1 In the last few years we have gone from a lineal narrative to richer, audiovisual narrative. Therefore, if you are not able to communicate your product or service with a SAD (Short Audiovisual Document), you may be a dinosaur... in danger of extinction! #2 SOCIAL MEDIA has transformed the way people and companies communicate with each other. But irrelevance and verbal incontinence are multiplying. The winners will be those who know how to meassure the frequency and the relevance of their interactions. #3 In hands of compulsive people, TWITTER is a dangerous tool, where there is much more talking than listening. And this exponential asymmetry represents a threat to its sustainability. We need to slow down a bit and rethink its use and potential. #4 FACEBOOK is not just a personal social network. It's both personal and professional. Period. And the fact that many haven't understood this yet favours the ones who have. #5 In the last few years, a new specie has developed: the NEOFREAKS . They aren't still in Facebook. Or they are without a profile picture. Or there are spider nets in their walls. Or they put the logo of their company in their profile and start sending petitions to everybody... #6 Given the INFORMATION OVERLOAD brought by the Internet, the key is selecting the content you spend time on. And we need to spend more time designing this selection. #7 Internet is hastening an explosion of PERSONAL BRANDS . They are professionals who have market visibility beyong the umbrella of traditional companies. Actually, they are their own brand. And this trend is becoming a revolution in the market of professionals. #8 Each we need less PRESENCIALITY for more types of work. As consecuence, office models, transportation models and city models are becoing obsolete. Which presents countless opportunities for innovation. #9 UNEMPLOYMENT is a local phenomenon that can be overcome with non-presential formulas. Like working for a company in another country from your home office. But this requieres learning languages, adapting to different time zones and, above all, changing the mindset. #10 As long as all these phenomena are demolishing hierarchies, lowering the center of gravity of organizations and unleashing new models of COLLABORATION and CO-CREATION , I shall leave this conclusion open... for you to write it. #1 En los últimos años hemos pasado
de una narrativa lineal a una narrativa
más compleja y audiovisual. Por tanto,
si no eres capaz de contar tu producto
o servicio en un DAB (Documento
Audiovisual Breve) eres un dinosaurio
en peligro de extinción.
#2 Las redes sociales han
transformado el panorama de la
comunicación entre personas,
empresas e instituciones.
tu tiempo online. Y hay que empezar
por dedicarle tiempo, de cuando en
cuando, a esta selección.
#7 Internet está facilitando una
explosión de marcas personales.
Son profesionales que adquieren
visibilidad y clientes al margen de la
empresa que les paga la nómina, o
ellos mismos son su propia empresa.
Esta tendencia cambiará las reglas del
juego en el mercado de profesionales.
#8 Cada día se requiere menos
presencialidad para más tipos de
trabajo. Y en consecuencia, los
modelos de oficina, de transporte y de
ciudad se van quedando obsoletos. Lo
que plantea incontables
oportunidades para la innovación.
#9 El paro es un fenómeno local que
se puede trascender con fórmulas no
presenciales, como trabajar para una
empresa de otro país desde tu propia
«ofi-casa» y coordinarte con ellos
online. Pero hay que aprender
idiomas, saltarse las franjas horarias y,
sobre todo, cambiar de chip.
#10 Como todos estos fenómenos
están desmontando las jerarquías,
bajando el centro de gravedad de las
organizaciones y desplegando
modelos de colaboración y
cocreación, , dejo esta última reflexión
abierta, para que la escribas tú…
