Pacific BrandsMultiple site contract in Victoria and Western Australia, incorporating company owned and contractor engaged fleet, approximately 20 permanent vehicles plus ad-hoc support.
Coca Cola4 company purchased vehicles built specifically to suit the transportation of CCA vending machines. 8 drivers (driver and jockey for each vehicle) were hired within 4 weeks.

3. Implementation – Roll Out Options
Option 1 – Single Roll Out Replace all fleet in one hit
Ensures all successful and willing candidates are in the role from the beginning
Kings will source sufficient body builders to ensure all vehicles are delivered on time
Option 2 – Staggered Roll Out Replace current fleet over a 4-6 week period
Allows ongoing transfer of knowledge and reduces risk
An opportunity to gauge Nylex Water staff feedback and adopt strategies if required
Opportunity to perform ongoing training with driver trainer

Driver Recruitment Interview existing drivers recommended by Nylex Water Solutions
Present Kings offer and operational solutions
Outline the initial and ongoing support all potential drivers will have

11 hours per day will earn drivers approximately $55,116 per annum
Knowledge retention by current drivers helps ensure seamless

Kings has extensive experience sourcing drivers for difficult work
Kings will dedicate two senior experienced operational staff
members to the recruitment process.

call.
Advertise internally and externally for suitable candidates

3. Implementation – Driver Training
Driver Training Kings will outline both Nylex Water’s and Kings’ expectations of them, and
how the induction process is going to proceed
All drivers will be inducted and trained in both Nylex Water’s and Kings’ policies, to ensure that all operational requirements are met
Drivers will undertake manual handling and load restraint training
Kings will establish documented operational manuals, outlining the requirements of the task, for drivers and backups to agree to and sign off on.

Assumptions
• Pricing is based on the following
• A core fleet of 9 vehicles
• Each vehicle travelling an average of 2200kms per week
• Each vehicle working an average of 11 hours per day
• Each vehicle undertaking 1 x 2 day trip per week (including
overnight stay)
• A base fuel price of $1.02 per litre (inc GST and rebate)
• An 8 hour minimum charge is applicable per vehicle per day
• A minimum contract term of 3 years
• Rates are exclusive of GST
