Mustard Seed Missions is a cooperative effort between local churches throughout Venango County and the Venango County Department of Human Services to provide meaningful help and the opportunity for spiritual supportwhile meeting needs in any of three areas:

The three areas of need:Home repairs and ramp installations for homeowners making their homes safe, warm, and dryFurnish beds or other household goods based on needProvide rides to medical appointments outside the County

The familys caseworker from Venango County Human Services assesses and determines if there is a need to make a home safe, warm, or dry. The caseworker can be from any Venango County Human Services Department; i.e. Older Adult Services,Children and Youth Services, Substance Abuse Program, Transportation, etc.Once a determination is made, the caseworker submits the request for help to their supervisor.If approved, a referral is then sent to Mustard Seed Missions to purchase the material and find volunteers to help with the work.Once the work is completed, the family is referred to a local church for spiritual support.How this works:
