Overview of the showI will be adapting the science fiction superhero film that is based on the Marvel comics and adapt it to a radio drama. The movie is directed by Peyton Reed and the plot of it is where a master is released from prison and is trained by Pym and is armed with suit that allows him to be able to have these abilities which are shrink n size, superhuman strength and to be able to control a whole army of ants. Pym believes that Lang can defeat the super villain Yellow jacket who has the same technology as Ant man but is using it for a different purpose which is using for a weapon as evil.

Station and Time of release My new radio drama for Ant Man will be aired on BBC Radio 4 Extra and it will be broadcasted live on September 2016, as this will launch for my date for my new series.The show will also be available on BBC IPlayer and each episode will be available to the core audience who are students online and they will also be to download and purchase the entire radio drama online through ITunes.The schedule of this radio drama will be broadcasted on BBC Radio 4. The time that i have chosen is every Tuesday at '5:00pm'. The show will consist of 10 episodes and the first will also be available on BBC iPlayer for radio listeners to be able to download on their devices. The radio drama will also be broadcasted every Sunday at 9:00pm to catch up on current episodes.

Target audienceThe target audience for my radio is aimed at malesbetween the age range of 10- 26. This is a superhero adaptation that is going to be a radio drama so the target audience that would find interest inlistening to the show. The primary audience will be teenagers who have disposable income and regularly socialise with friends and family. The secondary audience will be females who are aged between 16-25 and they have watched marvel films and read comic books. They will also be interested in females superhero as they will feel more empowered by this . The core audience for my radio show will be people who attend comic book conventions and also have a collection of comic books that they read and possibly have beencollecting since they were young. The additional audience will be both male and female and they will be possibly be affected by these issues such as divorce and this may cause them to watch the rest of this series.

Marketing and Distribution The new drama for Ant Man will be distributed online through BBC iPlayer for around 30 days and this will enable the core audience who are students to listen to the show directly. The show will also be available to the core audience to purchase as a physical copy in stores and they will also be listen to the radio show through the smart phones/tablets.

Mood Board

As you can see this is my mood board for Ant Man and it shows all the different elements within Ant man and more importantly the genre. Sound design has also been explored with nature and the ant sounds which will be explored through the narrative. The storyline will also be explored with Ant Man and is relationships that he builds over all the episodes in the series.

Budget The budget will be around 20,000 as it similar with other radio shows and this for crew ,actors and the cast for new radio show and the station is primarily funded by the license pay for BBC Radio 4 Extra.
