1.General Information
The M/E LO SYSTEM is one of the most important piping system located in E/R area The
oner and class ha"e a lot of recommendations and re#$irements regarding M/E L$%ricating
Oil Ser"ice System hich ha"e to folloed %y the shipyard
2.Function
System LO enters M/E tro$gh &OOLER and '(LTER %y M)(* LO +,M+ and it is s$pplied
in to ays %y distri%$ting pipe hich is attached to M/E One line is $sed for cooling the
piston- the other line ma.es the l$%rication of main %earing hich ill %e drained into
s$mp tan.

FILTER
Next is auto filter, where impurities are collected on filters. Cleaning of filters are done automatically
by using flushing oil from same oil. Clean flushing oil is returned back in to the system from sludge
check filter. In case of maintenance for Auto Filter can be use bypass filter. Auto Filter and bypass
