The Educational research group of the University of Vic, as part of its study of education, citizenship and public policies that aim to combat exclusion, is organising this one-day conference as a space for discussing and debat-ing contemporary migratory processes in a context of crisis. The first session will reflect on the educational results of children from immigrant families, with gender as a transversal element; the second will analyse the visi-ble and invisible boundaries created by laws and practic-es that generate unequal rights and access to education; while the third session will present experiences of educa-tion and training in contexts of cultural diversity.
