› Process Assistants unable to monitor Inline Measure Gauge while assisting parts

Task:› Create an 3rd level

projection holder to help visual view production of the Inline Measure Gauge

MC-1st Term

Safety Hand Guard Plate Issue: Associate jammed her finger between the

handles of the car and the cable beam for a control panel

Solution: Design Weld Disk in 3 places (approximately 120° apart) › Weld parts on carts and paint after cooled› Minimum of 25 carts per day› Diameter of 4.7”› Thickness of 1/8“

Capacity at WE-2

Plan : Review Robots in HMA Line 2 Weld department for “Over Capacity” Condition.

Do : List all Robots and their End Of Arm Tooling (EOAT).

Check : After all Data gathered, Check Weight & CG of EOAT with respect to Robot Capacity.

Act : Identify At risk Robots and Make visual confirmation of condition at line 2.

Main Targets Check: Sort through all MH and

Identify all machines that End of Tooling Arm exceeded over 100%

PA1- 3rd Term

Problem Paint having to replace damage parts Before: installed parts unto an scrap

body to be sent through paint booth › 1 Bonnet› 1 Tailgate› 4 Doors **(All Same Color)

Idea: Design Multi- Parts Carrier to be hold different parts to paint at one time› Up to 6 parts**(All Same Color) › Bonnet, Tailgate, Front Doors , Slide Doors

PA1- 3rd Term

Brain Storming PA1- 3rd Term

Solution: › Save time by designing multifunctional carrier › Ability to run units during production› Quicker tact time for final production› Help keep final repair parts low inventory› Supports New Model and Current Model

What I Have Learned How different concepts of engineering and how it corresponds

with a manufacturing and production environment With the correct planning one can accomplish excellent

expectations› CATIAV5 helps individuals see design on a Parts, Drawing,

Assembly View

Several different prototypes before the final product is completed

Enhance Problem Solving Skills Strengthen communication and teamwork skills by working

with contractors, maintenance ,and outside suppliers to get task complete.

Learn daily survival skills and characteristics that I can apply in everyday life.
