DEFINITION "Violence against women is perhaps the most

shameful human rights violation. Not limited to geography, culture or wealth. As long as we can not say that we have real progress towards equality, development and peace."

Violence against women constitutes a violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and impairs or nullifies the recognition, enjoyment or exercise of such rights and freedoms.

TYPES OF VIOLENCE PHYSICAL VIOLENCE.

It is the violence committed directly into the body of the person, are the attacks that are made with hands, fists, nails, feet, knives or other objects within reach of the attacker. This type of violence can be easily seen by the traces left in the body, but can also be mild strokes that leave no apparent trace but repeated frequencies, also undermine the health of the victim.

Psychological violence.Psychological violence directly damage the value, esteem and emotional stability of the person who suffers are the humiliations, insults, contempt, neglect, threats, omissions, silences, and other behaviors similar to those subjected daily to a woman and other vulnerable members of the family, and have a psychological impact, and certainly throughout the health of the person who suffers.

PREVENTION MEASURES AGAINST VIOLENCE TO WOMEN

Develop, implement and evaluate programs for the prevention of violence against womeneducating children and young people about the respect due to women having.
