Detailed Scope of Work

1. Digging• We carried out this process in supervision of

soil scientist at the sites selected by your office , and we collected all required information related to soil site and morphological properties of soil and collected soil sample from each horizon for laboratory analysis.

• We dug soil profiles to a minimum depth of 150 cm or up to the lithic contact / Para lithic contact / bed rock.

• We collected samples from each horizon and stored in a polythene bag wrapped in cloth bag and marked with sample bag numbers.

Morphological Study

1. Morphological study of Soil Profiles• We deputed soil scientist for morphological

study of soil profiles to record all morphological parameters and other site characteristics as per the data sheet formats prescribed by your office.

• We collected horizon-wise samples from each profile weighing at least 1.5 kg.

• GPS readings of all sample collection sites has been taken.

• Field photos of profile plus land use has been taken.

Transportation

We Collected samples for district Srinagar and Jammu ( 170 approx. ) and transported with proper packaging to our Lab in Hyderabad.

Processing of Soil Samples

Upon receiving Soil samples in Hyderabad each sample went under process of removing unwanted substances through sieving and each sample is dried under shade .
