DESERTThe desert climate has very high temperatures and very low rainfall; less than 250mm per year. Therefore, the vegetation is escarce and adapted to droughts.

➲ The Scottish climate is oceanic with warm temperatures in summer and cold temperatures in winter with a lot of precipitation throughout the year.
• In Scotland there are two main types of landscapes:
Coniferous Deciduous
CONIFEROUS
They are trees or bushes characterized by their conic form.
Some types of coniferous are: the pine and the cypress.
DECIDUOUS
They are trees or bushes that lose their leaves on Autumn.
Some examples of deciduous are: the beech and the oak.
FAUNAThe fauna of Scotland have seals, maritime birds and golden eagles.
