Hi God bless you, we want to share with you the progress of our work with children in November December 2013, and January 2014.

Through our friends of Together for

Childhood andUruguaysKeys the campaigns for

good treatment called: LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR

and ANTI-VIOLENCE VACCINE, came to

Venezuela 4 years ago.

Its a pretty creative strategy, in which people areoffered to receive a symbolic vaccine to overcome

bad treatment of children and youth.

This person commits

oneself to

promoting and

improving oneself

in the kindness and

loving treatment tothe youngest. The supplied vaccine is really just a

common candy.

The person who chooses to be vaccinated must eat the candy and make a

personal commitment to God.

The person receives an index card with their personal data and the duration

of the vaccine chosen by him/her plus the instructions on how to keep it. Also

a sticker is given to this person to be posted in a visible place in order to be a

reminder of their promise.

In November and December of 2013, we focused on the improvement of good

treatment with children of the G&L Clubs located in the sectors: Tierra

Negra and El Golfito.

We noticed that children tended to behave and treat each other in an

agressive way during the games and the lessons, and even argued over silly

things like who sits on which chair, who brought more guests, or who is holding

the teachers hand while theyrepraying. They fought and insulted each other,

so we worked on teaching them a new way to coexist and solve theirdifferences.

On January 21 we were invited by the Maranatha High School, to hold a worksho

sexuality and teenage pregnancy to the students. This idea came ou

the concern and awareness of the teachers since there are two 15-ye

old pregnant girls. The book was given to the teenagers

as a gift.

We arranged that FUNDACION EMANUEL will

continue working in the students of this school through

014, preparing the teachers so that they will be able to continueolding the workshops next year.

Began meeting again on January 15, were working on recruiting the kids back;

attendance has been slightly lower, because of the school activities. We started a

discipleship material called PHILLIP PROJECT FOR CHILDREN, Supplied by

National Bible League.

We began with kid activities on Thursday 23 in a public cou

Tierra Negra. On the first day 20 kids from last year s g

showed up to the club and 22 new kids who were passin

and its surroundings were quite dirty; also there was a grou

noise was pretty annoying. However, we decided to kee

meeting there. The next Thursday when we arrived we foun

that the neighbors had cleaned the court both inside and

and hung up a poster. Furthermore they asked the mechani

move to a different location. All this effort from the comm

was due to the fact that their children started coming to

club. That day we had an attendance of 50 kids! We are pror more volunteers to disciple these kids, as well as were working withProject Phillip Infantile
