Report about sport

• Gracias a los nuevos planteamientos de la P.E. nuestro deporte ha conseguido lo smejores resultados de toda su historia. Todo comienza en la enseñanza primaria, poco a poco y siguiendo la misma líea de trabajo, nuestros jóvenes están consiguendo las mejores marcas. Para las olimpiadas de 1992, se establecieron una becas, llamadas ADO, que ayudan a a ciertas especialidades deportivas a compaginar sus estudios con la práctica del deporte de forma profesional.

THIRD CYCLE OF PRIMARY (10-12 years)Objectives of this stage

• The body: Image and perception• Consciousness and control of the body in rest and in

movement.• Execution of difficult movements with non-dominant

parts of the body.• Static and dynamic equilibrium in complex positions.• Spatial-temporal structure in complex motor actions

and positions.• Assessment and acceptance of the reality of one’s own

body and that of others, showing a critical attitude towards the socially valid aesthetic-corporal model.

• Block 2. Motor Skills

• Motor and corporal control from a planned approach to the action.• Assessment of the executed work from a motor point of view.• Block 3. Artistic-expressive physical activities

• The body and movement: Exploration and consciousness of the possibilities and resources of the body language.

• Composition of movements from rhythmic and musical stimulus. Production of dances and simple choreographies.

• Expression and communication of individual and shared feelings and emotions from the body, gestures, and movement.

Physical Activity and HealthAcquisition of posture and healthy eating habits and personal hygieneautonomy.Improved fitness health.Prevention of injuries in physical activity. Heating, dosing andrecovery efforts.Safety measures in the practice of physical activity in relation to theenvironment. Proper and respectful use of materials and spaces.

Games and sports

Types of games and sports. Performing various modalities andincreasing difficulty.Acceptance and respect for the norms, rules, strategies and peopleinvolved in the game.Development and implementation of a code of fair play.Appreciate the game and sporting activities as a means of enjoyment, satisfying employment relationship and leisure time.

THIRD CYCLE OF PRIMARY (ELEMENTARY) (10-12 years) Criterion of Evaluation

• Adapt the movements and jumps to different types of settings• Throw, pass, and catch balls and other mobile objects, without losing

control of them in motor games and activities where they are necessary.

• Act in a coordinated and cooperative manner in order to meet challenges or to oppose one or more opponents in a collective game, as an attacker or a defender.

• Identify fundamental values of the games and the practice of sports activities, personal efforts, and relationships established in a group, and act according to them.

• Coherently and critically form opinions on the conflictive situations that arise during physical activities and sports.

• Actively demonstrate behavior aimed at increasing the global physical condition.

• Construct group compositions using the expressive resources of the body and using musical, verbal, and artistic stimulus.

• Identify some of the relationships that are established between the correct and habitual practice of physical exercise and improving health.
