YOUNG MEN’S 43RD ANNUAL ESSAY CONTEST Catholic students from 7th to 12th grade are invited to participate in the Young Men’s annual Essay contest. Prizes range from $75 to $1,000. OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CELEBRATION 36th Annual Diocesan Pilgrimage and Eucharistic Celebration honoring Our Lady of Guadalupe Most Reverend Stephen E. Blaire, Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Stockton, invites the community to the 36th annual diocesan celebration in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe on Sunday, December 4, 2016. The pilgrimage begins at 12 noon at St. Mary’s Church, located at 203 E. Washington Street in Stockton. Pilgrims will process through N. San Joaquin to E. Miner, and S. Sutter Streets. Mass is at 2:15 PM under the overpass on the parking lot of Sutter and Washington Streets. Please join Bishop Blaire at this encounter of faith where we call upon Our Lady of Guadalupe to pray for us and ask her intercession for our brothers and sisters who suffer daily, especially the effects of poverty and violence. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul continues to ask for your help to provide christmas gifts for the children of our community. Las festividades comienzan con la novena el sabado, 3 de Diciembre en la iglesia y continuaran hasta

el domingo, 11 de diciembre.

Habrá una misa de gallo en el Centro Guadalupano en Westley.

Las Mañanitas en Patterson serán a las 4 a.m., seguida por la misa a

las 5 a.m.

The celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe will be on Monday,

December 12, 2016.

The festivities begin with a novena which begins on Saturday,

December 3 at 7 p.m. in the church and continues until

Sunday, December 11.

Mass at Guadalupe Center in Westley is at midnight.

The Mañanitas in Patterson will

begin at 4 a.m., followed by Mass at 5 a.m.
