Hola. Encantado de volver a veros después de las historias que nos contó el cardenal Cisneros en el primer número de la revista. ¿Que no la leíste? ¿Que no sabes quién soy?... Pues San Cristóbal, el gigante que aparece pintado en una de las paredes laterales que hay dentro de la Catedral.Todos me llaman San Cristobalón porque soy muy gran-de... Tanto, que me dediqué durante mucho tiempo a ayu-dar a las personas a cruzar los ríos hasta que un día cono-cí a un niño muy especial, Jesús, y decidí seguir sus pasos.

Hi! Happy to see you again after all the stories that car-dinal Cisneros told us in the first issue of this magazine. Haven’t you read it? Do not know who I am?... Well, I’m St. Cristóbal, the giant who appears painted on one of the side walls inside Toledo’s Cathedral.Everyone calls me Big St. Cristóbal because I´m so large... So much so that I occupied myself helping peo-ple to cross the rivers for a long time. One day I met a very special child, Jesus, and I decided to follow in his footsteps.

I told you in the past that Toledo’s Cathedral was built at the end of the Middle Ages and is of Gothic style. It is a building built with stone and with very high roofs. We can walk through any of the five long corridors in which the church is divided, the five naves. The main altar and the choir are in the middle with the chapels around them. We can also see a lot of works of art in the Museum that Toledo’s Cathedral has placed in the sacristy, before leaving to a kind of gar-den courtyard called as Cloister.

La primera vez os conté que esta Catedral se levantó al final de la Edad Media y es de estilo Gótico. Es un edificio construido con piedra y con los techos muy altos, y podéis pasear por cualquiera de los cinco largos pasillos en los que se divide la iglesia, sus cinco naves. En el centro están el Altar Mayor y el Coro. Y a su alrededor, las capillas. También podéis ver un montón de obras de arte en el Museo que la catedral ha montado en su Sacristía, antes de salir a una es-pecie de patio ajardinado que se llama Claustro.

Seguro que eres muy buen detective y en-cuentras las palabras escondidas en esta “sopa de letras”.

En este cuarto número de la revista os pre-sentamos a Santa María de Toledo, la Vir-gen del Sagrario, que además es la patrona de la ciudad. Cada 15 de agosto, en Toledo se celebra la festividad de la Asunción de la Virgen al cielo, con tradiciones tan curiosas como la de beber el agua de los pozos de la Catedral. Si sigues la pista, descubrirás dónde están los famosos pozos.

I also want to tell you today about the relationship between Toledo’s Cathedral and the Spanish monarchy _the Kings and Queens of the past and present_. With the help of the previous report _or with the help of your parents if necessary_, I challenge you to correctly place some of those Kings and Queens in their corresponding chapels.

Hoy también quiero contaros la relación que hay entre esta Catedral y la monar-quía española (los reyes y reinas del pasa-do y los actuales).
