Gracias a sus 2.800 horas de sol anuales, los ambientes primaveral y veraniego se reparten la mayor parte del año. Una temperatura media de 18º es el mejor de los indicadores.

Los parajes monumentales que encontramos en la Costa Blanca obligan a marcarse itinerarios. Desde el majestuoso Castillo de Santa Bárbara de Alicante hasta la Basílica de Santa María de Elche, pasando por renombrados museos como El MARQ (Museo Arqueológico Provincial, declarado Museo Europeo del Año 2004 y que contiene una importante colección del patrimonio arqueológico y artístico de la provincia) o el Mubag (Museo de bellas Artes Gravina).
The architectural heritage of the Costa Blanca forces visitors to trace different routes to visit, for example, the majestic Santa Bárbara Castle in Alicante, the Basilica de Santa María in Elche and renown museums like the MARQ (the Provincial Archaeological Museum, which was declared European Museum of the Year 2004. An important collection of the archaeological and artistic heritage of the province) as well as the Mubag (the National Fine Arts Museum Gravina) can be found in the MARQ.

Las condiciones climáticas, la orografía y la red de albergues y casas rurales hacen del interior de la provincia el lugar idóneo para practicar cualquier deporte al aire libre, al mismo tiempo que se disfruta del patrimonio natural y cultural de la provincia. Las fiestas populares, ancestrales tradiciones y folclore enriquecen la Costa Blanca de norte a sur, por el este y el oeste. El arroz es el ingrediente estrella de nuestros platos locales. Además de la paella, tenemos platos de arroz con caldo que pueden ser acompañados por aperitivos como los salazones de atún, “hueva”, “mojama”...
Tanto nuestros vinos como bebidas espirituosas tienen Denominación de Origen. Los moscateles, los vinos blancos de la Marina Alta y el “Fondillón” del Vinalopó“ son nuestros vinos dulces más conocidos. Los tintos son fuertes y robustos, con el alto contenido en alcohol.
Nuestros postre más conocido es el famoso “turrón” y por supuesto los helados hechos tradicionalmente. Nuestros pastelería es típicamente árabe tanto en su origen como en su sabor.
Rice is the main ingredient of our local dishes. In addition to Paella, rice is also present in other dishes; for example, we can have rice with broth accompanied by salted tuna, roe or dried tuna as starters.
Both our wines and spirits have Designation of Origin. The muscatels, the white wines from the Marina Alta and the “Fondillón del Vinalopó” are our most recognized sweet wines. Our red wines are strong and robust, with a high alcohol content.
Our most known dessert is the famous nougat “turrón” and, of course, our traditionally made ice creams. Our patisserie is typically Arabic, both in origin and flavour.
