Activity 2: Recognize singular and plural uses of the demonstrative pronouns. Instructions: Read the sentences and choose the correct words. //Lee las oraciones y elige las palabras correctas.

1. This/ These is my tablet.

2. That/ Those is our house

3. What’s this/ these? It’s a pencil case.

4. That/ Those are your cell phones.

5. This /These are my grandparents.

6. What are that/ those? They are my video games.

7. What’s that/those? It’s a mouse.

Activity 3: Practice the demonstratives use.

Instructions: Complete the sentences with this, that, these and those. // Completa las oraciones con this, that, these and those.

Activity 4: Find the difference in use of the demonstratives. Instructions: In your notebook, create a visual explanation about the differences between the four demonstrative pronouns using the picture from exercise 1 as an example. Keep in mind concepts like singular/plural and distance from the speaker to the object. // En tu cuaderno, crea una explicación visual de las diferencias entre los cuatro pronombres demostrativos usando la imagen de la actividad 1 como ejemplo. Mantén presente conceptos como singular/plural y la distancia del hablante con el objeto.
