rísticos de Lujo.

La empresa dispone de cuatro marcas diferenciadas con cuatro productos distintos para cada público.

El Transcantábrico GRAN LUJO; Es la novedad del 2011, un tren excepcional con grandes y lujosas suites y hermosísimos salones comunes. Creado en éste año para los clientes más exigentes. Realizará el Itinerario de San Sebastián a Santiago de Compostela y viceversa, en 8 días y 7 noches. Todo el viaje es exclusivo, las visitas, la gastronomía, el tren, el autocar de lujo, etc.. El placer único de lo exclusivo.

El Transcantábrico CLASICO; Es nuestro tren de siempre con 27 años de andadura y multitud de premios y reconocimientos internacionales. Está equipado con suites clásicas y grandes salones comunes. Realiza el itinerario de León a Santiago de Compostela y viceversa, en 8 días y 7 noches. En el viaje está todo incluido. Un crucero cinco estrellas por el norte de España.

El Expreso de La Robla; Es su segundo año de andadura. En 2010 sorprendió por su rotundo éxito. Es un tren moderno con todos los avances técnicos de nuestros días, concebido especialmente para el turismo, realiza viajes de 4 días y 3 noches y viajes de 2 días y 1 noche en tres diferentes Itinerarios ; El de La Robla de Bilbao a León y retorno, El Jacobeo de Gijón a Santiago y regreso a Gijón y El Porta Norte de dos días con salida de Gijón para visitar la “Mariña Lucense” y regreso al día siguiente. Un gran viaje en tren a su medida.

Los Trenes Turísticos del Norte; Son tres trenes únicos con mucha historia a sus espaldas: “El Histórico” que es el más clásico de los trenes de Feve, “El Estrella del Cantábrico” un tren adaptado y versátil para el turismo, cursos, presentaciones, etc., y “El Costa Verde” orientado a las excursiones de grandes grupos. Created for the most demanding of customers, it will cover the itinerary from San Sebastián to Santiago de Compostela and vice versa, over 8 days and 7 nights. The Transcantábrico CLASICO; Our legendary train, with a 27-year history and countless international prizes and awards. It is fi tted with classic suites and large common lounges. It covers the itinerary from Leon to Santiago de Compostela and vice versa, over 8 days and 7 nights. Everything is included in the trip, which offers a fi ve-star cruise across Northern Spain.

The Expreso de La Robla; This is the second year it has been in operation, after standing out in 2010 for its overwhelming success. E s la novedad del 2011 y nace con el fi n de satisfacer los gustos de los más exigentes.

Se crea sobre la base de El Transcantábrico Clásico, el cual se reforma en su integridad creando unos salones panorámicos donde se abren grandes ventanales y se decoran lujosamente. Las Habitaciones se transforman creando de cada dos una, mucho más amplias y hasta con el mínimo detalle. Una suite GRAN LUJO. Esto hace que el tren sea muy exclusivo y que sólo disponga de 14 suites dobles, bien con camas de matrimonio o individuales, también tienen la posibilidad de cama supletoria adicional para menores de 14 años. Por consiguiente los grupos serán entorno a las 28 personas con un exquisito trato.

Tanto las visitas, el autocar como la gastronomía están acordes con el resto del tren, convirtiendo el viaje en algo sublime. Será el viaje de su vida.

T his is the novelty for 2011, designed to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers.

It has been created on the basis of the Transcantábrico Clásico, which has been completely refurbished, and now boasts panoramic lounges with large windows and luxurious décor. The rooms have been transformed, making one out of every two, expanding them and ensuring every last detail is perfect. One GRAN LUJO suite. This makes the train highly exclusive, with only 14 double suites, with either a double bed or two twin beds, and the option of an extra bed for under-14-year-olds. Therefore, groups will be made up of around 28 people, who will enjoy excellent service.

The excursions, coach and cuisine will be in fi tting with the rest of the train, turning the journey into something sublime. It will be the trip of your life.

En estas zonas comunes se sirven diariamente nuestros desa-yunos especiales, en sus comedores podrán degustar la mejor gastronomía de nuestro gran Chef y nuestro bar, que estará a su disposición permanentemente.

En los salones encontrará la prensa nacional e internacional, televisión, videoteca, biblioteca, juegos de mesa, etc.; podrá relajarse en nuestro salón panorámico, tomar un aperitivo en nuestra sala de té o disfrutar de una animada velada en nuestro coche pub, donde cada noche ofreceremos fi estas y música en vivo.

A excepción de las bebidas alcohólicas, el resto son gratuitas durante todo el viaje.

Nuestra tripulación le atenderá permanentemente y estará a su servicio para todo lo que precise.

The Lounge Cars

The four original 1923 Pullman lounge cars are true railway jewels, which have been especially decorated

for El Transcantabrico Gran Lujo.

Each day, our special breakfasts will be served in these common areas, where guests will be able to enjoy our Chef’s best cuisine, as well as having access to our all-day bar.

In our lounges, guests will be able to enjoy national and international press, TV, a video library, a library, a collection of board games, etc.; as well as relaxing in our panoramic lounge, enjoying an aperitif in our tea room and even spending a lively evening in our pub, where live music and parties are offered every night.

With the exception of alcoholic drinks, all drinks are free during the trip.

Our crew will be permanently at your service, to attend any needs you may have.

Las Suites

Las suites de El Transcantábrico Gran Lujo están dise-ñadas para el disfrute y el placer. Su exquisita y selecta

decoración le envolverán en una atmósfera especial. El tren se detendrá durante la noche para permitir un sueño reparador.

Las Suites están equipadas con cama de 150x200 cm. o bien dos camas individuales, armario ropero, maletero, caja fuer-te, dos TV, vídeo, consola de juegos, equipo de música, doble climatización, ordenador con conexión gratuita a internet, amplio sofá con posibilidad de convertirse en cama supleto-ria, teléfono inalámbrico, minibar… así como un amplio y completo cuarto de baño con ducha de hidromasaje, sauna de vapor, secador de pelo, albornoz y un amplio set de artí-culos de bienvenida.

Las conexiones eléctricas son a 220 v.

Todo el tren está conectado interiormente permitiendo el li-bre tránsito de los viajeros por él.

The Suites

The suites of El Transcantabrico Gran Lujo have been designed for pleasure and enjoyment. They have been

carefully decorated to ensure they provide guests with a special atmosphere. The train will stop during the night to ensure travellers enjoy a relaxing sleep.

The suites are fi tted with either a 150 x 200cm bed or two twin beds, a wardrobe, suitcase storage, safe, 2 TVs, a VCR, games console, HiFi system, double air-conditioning, a PC with free internet connection, a large sofa which can be turned into an extra bed, wireless telephone, minibar, etc. Additionally, they boast a full bathroom with hydro-massage, steam sauna, hairdryer, bathrobe and a wide range of complimentary toiletries.

The entire train is interconnected, allowing the free movement of its passengers.

■ Segundo día, Domingo. Bilbao SantanderEl tren cubrirá el camino hasta Bilbao. La visita de la ciudad incluye el museo Guggenheim. Comida a bordo mientras llegamos a Santander, ya en Cantabria, la ciudad serena que aúna adjetivos como belleza, fascinación y encanto. El casino, vale la pena sólo contemplar el edifi cio impuesto en El Sardinero como un regalo. Cena y noche en Santander.

■ Tercer día, Lunes. Santander Cabezón de la SalEl tren nos acerca a Unquera, desde aquí en autocar y a través del desfi ladero de La Hermida llegaremos a Potes y al santuario de Santo Toribio de Liébana. Por la tarde y en el tren llegaremos a Cabezón de la Sal. Visita de Comillas. Comida en Potes y cena y noche en Cabezón de la Sal.

■ Cuarto día, Martes. Cabezón de la Sal ArriondasDesde Cabezón de la Sal iremos a Santillana del Mar, visita de la Neo-cueva de Altamira y de la villa medieval. Almuerzo en Santillana. Por la tarde en tren nos adentraremos en tierras asturianas hasta la villa marinera de Llanes, posteriormente Arriondas. Cena y noche en Arriondas.

■ Quinto día, Miércoles. Arriondas OviedoLlegamos al corazón de Asturias. Desde Arriondas, en autocar, el Parque Nacional de los Picos de Europa; la ascensión a los Lagos de Covadonga, el Santuario de Covadonga y, por último, Cangas de Onís. Comida a bordo. Mientras, el tren nos acerca a Oviedo, capital del Principado. Visita, cena y noche en Oviedo.

■ Sexto día, Jueves. Oviedo LuarcaDesde Oviedo nos acercamos a Gijón, ciudad abierta al mar. Visita y comida. Por la tarde el viaje continúa hasta Luarca, la Villa Blanca de la Costa Verde. Cena y noche en Luarca.

■ Séptimo día, Viernes. Luarca ViveiroEl primer enclave de Galicia, limítrofe con Asturias, es Ribadeo, donde se encuentra la desembocadura del Río Eo. Visita de la playa de las Catedrales. El paisaje de las Rías Altas estremece. Comida en Ribadeo. Por la tarde con el tren llegaremos a Viveiro. Cena y noche en Viveiro.

■ Octavo día, Sábado. Viveiro Santiago de CompostelaDesde Ferrol con el autocar llegaremos Santiago de Compostela, meta de los peregrinos jacobeos donde aguarda como una joya la Plaza del Obradoiro, Platerías, la Catedral… Fin de viaje.

■ Fourth day, Tuesday, Cabezón de la Sal ArriondasFrom Cabezón de la Sal we will travel to Santillana del Mar, visit the Altamira caves and the medieval town. Lunch in Santillana. In the afternoon we will travel by train to the Asturias village of Llanes, and Arriondas. Dinner and night in Arriondas.

■ Fifth day, Wednesday. Arriondas OviedoWe are now in the heart of Asturias. From Arriondas, we will travel by coach to the National Park of Picos de Europa; the Covadonga Lakes, the Sanctuary of Covadonga, and, fi nally, Cangas de Onís. Lunch aboard the train. Meanwhile the train will travel to Oviedo, the capital city of the Principality of Asturias. Visit, dinner and night in Oviedo.

■ Sixth day, Thursday. Oviedo LuarcaFrom Oviedo the train will travel to Gijón, a seaside city. Visit and lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to Luarca, known as “The White Town of the Green Coast”. Dinner and night in Luarca.

■ Seventh day, Friday. Luarca ViveiroThe fi rst place we will visit in Galicia, neighbouring with Asturias, is Ribadeo, where the river Eo fl ows into the sea. Visit to Las Catedrales beach. The landscape of “Las Rías Altas” is overwhelming. Lunch in Ribadeo. In the afternoon we reach Viveiro by train. Dinner and night in Viveiro.

■ Eighth day, Saturday. Viveiro Santiago de CompostelaFrom Ferrol we will travel by coach to Santiago de Compostela, the ultimate goal for pilgrims, with its crown jewels: the Praza do Obradoiro, the Platerías (streets full of silversmiths’ shops), the Cathedral... End of journey.

En sus viajes de 8 días y 7 noches por la historia de España, desde los tiempos prehistóricos de Altamira hasta la actuali-dad del Guggenheim, El Transcantábrico Clásico le mostrará lo más recóndito y hermoso del norte peninsular.

A su llegada al tren, la tripulación le dará la bienvenida. Ésta está formada por profesionales que le acompañarán durante todo el recorrido y que estarán a su disposición ante cualquier eventualidad.

Los Coches Salón

Los cuatro coches salón constituyen el espacio más sin-gular y bello del tren, son verdaderas joyas ferrovia-

rias que despiertan admiración por su diseño externo, su acabado y decoración interior. Son las zonas comunes del tren, donde, a lo largo de más de veintisiete años de historia reciente y casi un siglo de construcción, se han iniciado mu-chas y muy sólidas amistades, alentadas e inspiradas por tan sugestivo escenario.

Uno de los cuatro coches salón dispone de bar y pista de bai-le. Es el coche pub, decorado e iluminado como una pequeña sala de fi estas, en la que cada noche se ameniza la velada. Otro de los salones dispone de un segundo bar para tomar una copa relajadamente. En los otros dos salones podrá leer, compartir un juego de mesa con otros viajeros, charlar y contemplar el paisaje a través de los grandes ventanales. Se encuentre donde se encuentre siempre estará atendido por nuestro servicio de camareros.

El viajero dispone de prensa diaria, revistas, una cuidada selec-ción de libros de la biblioteca, televisión, videoteca, en defi niti-va, todo lo necesario para hacer de su viaje un placer.

The Lounges

The four lounge carriages constitute the most unusual and beautiful space on the train, and are true railway

gems, boasting excellent external design, fi nishes and interior decoration. These are the common spaces of the train, where, throughout the last 27 years of its history, and the almost a century since it was built, many lifelong friendships have been forged, encouraged and inspired by this suggestive atmosphere.

One of the four lounge carriages boasts a bar and dance fl oor. This is the pub carriage, which is decorated and lit like a small ballroom, where guests can enjoy their evenings on the train. Another of the lounge carriages has a second bar, where passengers can relax with a drink. The other two lounge carriages offer spaces to read, play board games with other passengers, chat and enjoy the landscape, thanks to the large windows. Wherever the passengers are, they will always enjoy the service of our team of waiters.

Guests will have at their disposal the daily press, magazines, a selection of books, TV, video collection, etc. Ultimately, they will have everything they need to ensure a pleasurable journey.

Las Suites

En cada suite de El Transcantábrico clásico el cliente dis-pone de un espacio especialmente diseñado para el des-

canso y la intimidad. El viajero podrá dormir con toda co-modidad con el tren parado en la estación. De esta forma se evita el traqueteo que pueda alterar el sueño y permite a aquellos que deseen salir por la noche el disfrutar del am-biente nocturno de la ciudad.

Cada compartimento suite dispone de un completo equipa-miento de complementos de aseo. La corriente eléctrica es de 220 voltios.

Las suites disponen de cama de matrimonio, algunas tienen la opción de disponer además de una litera superior indepen-diente. Todas ellas están equipadas con maletero, minibar, caja fuerte, armario ropero, escritorio y teléfono con línea exterior. Cuentan con baño privado con hidrosauna, turbo-masaje y baño de vapor, además de secador de pelo. El aire acondicionado, la calefacción, el hilo musical y las luces dis-ponen de regulador individual.

Un amplio ventanal permite disfrutar del paisaje.

Interiormente está conectado todo el tren, permitiendo el libre tránsito de los viajeros.

The Suites

Each of the suites in El Transcantábrico Clasico offers guests a space designed for rest and privacy. Passengers

will sleep comfortably, as the train stops at the station at night, to avoid the bothersome rattle and give guests a chance to go out and enjoy the city’s nightlife, if they so wish.

Each compartment is equipped with a complete range of toiletries. The electrical outlets are 220v.

The suites come with a double bed, and some offer the chance to have an independent bunk bed. All the suites have luggage storage, minibar, safe, closet, desk and a telephone with an external line. They also boast a private bathroom with hydro-sauna, whirlpool and steam bath, as well as a hairdryer. The air conditioning, heating, piped music and lighting in the suites can be individually adjusted.

The wide windows offer excellent views of the landscape.

The inside of the train is completely connected, allowing guests to walk freely through it.

Un viaje distinto a los demás, con la nostalgia y a la vez modernidad de los grandes cruceros en tren.

Este tren aúna el clasicismo de sus coches con la modernidad de sus instalaciones, un tren con tres coches salón y cuatro coches de literas, todos ellos con cuarto de baño independiente, climatizados y con todos los avances técnicos de nuestros días. Un tren hecho para el disfrute y el placer de viajar y contemplar desde sus grandes ventanales el hermoso paisaje por el que discurre. Pasará las noches estacionado en las estaciones para que los clientes puedan salir y entrar cuando gusten y puedan disfrutar de un sueño reparador.

Al tren siempre le acompañará un autocar que acercará al cliente a aquellos lugares donde éste no pueda llegar. Siempre acompañados por una guía que les mostrará los más recónditos lugares del recorrido.

This train combines the classicism of its wagons with the modernity of the equipment, a train with three lounge-wagons and four berth wagons, all of them owning an independent bathroom, with air-conditioned and every current technical advance. A train made for the enjoyment and the pleasure of travelling and to look at the beautiful landscape which it goes through from its large windows. It will be stopped at the railway stations in order to allow the passengers to get in and out whenever they want to and to enjoy a refreshing sleep.

The train will always be followed by a coach that will take the client to those places where it is not able to get to. There will always be a guide who will show you the most hidden places in the route.

Every morning breakfast will be served on board while the train is running in order to intensify the pleasure of having breakfast by the spectacular landscapes of the North of Spain. Lunch and dinner will be served in typical restaurants that are selected previously.

Los espacios comunes de El Expreso de La Robla están constituidos por tres confortables coches salones con

Cada mañana en estos salones se podrá degustar el exquisito buffet libre que se preparará para los desayunos.

El viajero dispondrá de prensa diaria, revistas, biblioteca, vi-deoteca y televisión. Los salones están climatizados y dispo-nen de megafonía e hilo musical, así como PC a disposición de los clientes y conexión gratuita a internet.

Estos salones están preparados para poder realizar confe-rencias, charlas, cursos y reuniones, por estar equipados con pantalla gigante, conexión de PC, megafonía, etc. También disponen de espacios destinados a tomar una relajada copa y escuchar música.

■ Segundo día, viernes Tras un reparador descanso y mientras desayunamos a bordo, el tren llegará a Viveiro, preciosa ciudad amurallada, visita y vistas desde el monte San Roque. Poste-riormente con el tren llegaremos a Ortigueira, desde donde sal-dremos en autocar hacia Cariño. Comida en Cedeira. Después de la comida continuaremos nuestra excursión hasta Cabo Ortegal, sus impresionantes acantilados y sus vistas desde la parte más septentrional de España son algo único. Continuamos camino has-ta el santuario de San Andrés de Teixido y desde allí a Cedeira, para regresar posteriormente a

Ortigueira, donde cenaremos y pasaremos la noche.

■ Tercer día, sábadoDespués de un suculento desa-yuno a bordo, con el autocar y como peregrinos llegaremos a Santiago de Compostela. Visita-remos su casco antiguo y la Ca-tedral. Posteriormente, y después del almuerzo, nos acercaremos a Coruña, Torre de Hércules, Pa-seo Marítimo y Plaza de Mª Pita. Por la tarde llegaremos a Ferrol, donde realizaremos una breve vi-sita. Cena y noche en Ferrol.

■ Cuarto día, domingoPor la mañana, entre brumas y acantilados llegaremos a Foz, desde donde nos acercaremos a Mondoñedo, aquí la Catedral ocupa un lugar predominante. Luego las playas de la marina lu-cense. Comida en la zona. Por la tarde retomaremos el tren en Na-via, ya de regreso a Gijón, donde llegaremos entorno a las 19,30 h.

■ Primer día, martesEl tren saldrá de la Estación de FEVE de Gijón a las 8,45 h., los pasajeros podrán registrarse a bordo desde las 8,00 h. hasta las 8,30 h., tras la recepción, la tripulación acomodará a los via-jeros en los compartimentos y mostrará los salones comunes de El Expreso de La Robla.Comenzamos nuestro viaje y la primera parada será Ribadeo, una de las villas más importantes de la costa de Lugo, donde reali-zaremos una visita guiada por el casco histórico. Después de la co-mida, continuaremos visitando el Mirador de la Santa Cruz, el cual nos ofrece una de las mejores vis-tas de la ría del Eo, el cargadero, testigo mudo de la antigua acti-vidad minera, y el faro, ubicado en un entorno de gran belleza paisajística, para posteriormente disponer de tiempo libre hasta la hora de la cena en un buen res-taurante de la zona, tras la cual,

los pasajeros podrán disfrutar del ambiente nocturno de esta bonita Villa a orillas de la desembocadu-ra del río Eo.

■ Segundo día, miércoles Tras un merecido descanso, en este segundo día de viaje, disfru-taremos de un exquisito desayuno a bordo del tren, posteriormente saldremos en autocar hacia Mon-doñedo, donde visitaremos entre otros tesoros patrimoniales: la Catedral, Barrio de los Artesanos, el Seminario… Posteriormente visitaremos un impresionante monumento natural: la playa de “As Catedrais” y Rinlo, hermosa parroquia marinera.Después de la comida en un res-taurante de la zona, saldremos en autocar hacia Ribadeo, allí nos esperará el tren para iniciar el viaje de regreso a Gijón, don-de fi nalizaremos en torno a las 20,30 h.

■ First day, TuesdayThe train will leave the FEVE Station of Gijón at 8.45h, and passengers may register on the train between 8.00 h. and 8.30h. After their arrival, the crew will settle the guests in their compartments and will show them the common spaces of El Expreso de La Robla.The journey begins, with the fi rst stop in Ribadeo, one of the most important towns in the coast of Lugo, where we will visit the old town. After lunch, we will continue with a visit to the Mirador de la Santa Cruz, which offers excellent views of the estuary of the River Eo, as well as the loading bay, a silent witness to the mining works of the past, and the lighthouse, set in a beautiful landscape. Afterwards, guests will enjoy

free time, before having dinner at one of the best restaurants in the area, after which they will enjoy the nightlife of this pretty town, on the edge of the mouth of the River Eo.■ Second day, WednesdayAfter a well-deserved rest, on the second day guests will enjoy a delicious breakfast on the train, before taking a coach to Mondoñedo, where we will visit, among other heritage monuments, the Cathedral, the Artisans’ Quarter, the Seminar, etc. Later on we will visit an impressive natural monument, the “As Catedrais” beach and Rinlo, a beautiful fi shing parish. After having lunch at a local restaurant, we will depart toward Ribadeo, where the train will take us back to Gijon, arriving around 20.30h.

■ First day, ThursdayGuests’ arrival between 13.30 and 15.30h. The fi rst stop of the train journey will be Ribadeo, the fi rst Galician town we will visit, on the edge of the mouth of the river Eo. Dinner at the Parador and night in Ribadeo.

■ Second day, FridayAfter a restful night, while we have breakfast on the train, we will reach Viveiro, a beautiful walled town, which we will visit, as well as enjoying the views from Monte San Roque. Later on, the train will take us to Ortigueira, from where we will travel by coach to Cariño. Lunch in Cedeira. In the afternoon we will reach Ferrol, which we will briefl y visit. Ya iniciado el viaje con el tren llegaremos a Espinosa de los Monteros, donde tomaremos el autocar e iremos a visitar el complejo Kárstico de Ojo Guareña en Sotoscueva, uno de los más grandes del mundo. Posteriormente partiremos desde So-toscueva con el tren hasta Cervera de Pisuerga, donde pasare-mos la noche en la estación de FEVE de Vado-Cervera. Cena en el Parador de Fuentes Carrionas y noche en Vado-Cervera.

■ Segundo día, viernes Mientras degustamos un suculento desayuno a bordo, el tren llegará a Matallana, donde tomaremos un autocar que nos acercará a visitar las Cuevas de Valporquero donde sus esta-lactitas, estalagmitas y coladas las han hecho famosas. Por la tarde con el tren llegaremos a San Feliz. Con autocar a León. Visita de la ciudad, de origen romano, donde la cultura y el arte emanan por sus poros. Visita a la Catedral de León, San Isidoro, Casco Histórico y San Marcos. Cena en sus fa-

mosas bodegas de vino de Prieto Picudo y noche a bordo en la estación San Felíz.

■ Tercer día, sábadoMientras desayunamos a bordo el Tren nos acerca a Guardo, desde donde partiremos en autocar para visitar el arte romá-nico palentino: Carrión de los Condes, Frómista, Villalcázar de Sirga. Comida en Frómista. Por la tarde con el tren saldre-mos desde Mataporquera a Espinosa de los Monteros, donde cenaremos y pasaremos la noche.

■ Cuarto día, domingoDespués de un suculento desayuno nos acercaremos a visi-tar la Villa de Espinosa de los Monteros y Medina de Pomar, donde destaca el Alcázar de los Condestables y su Casco His-tórico. Más tarde el tren nos acercará a Balmaseda donde visi-taremos el Museo de Boinas La Encartada y disfrutaremos de una típica comida. Tras la visita el tren nos acercará a Bilbao, donde fi nalizará nuestro viaje entorno a las 18,00 h.

■ First day, ThursdayPassengers’ arrival between 13.30 and 15.30h. The train will take us to Espinosa de los Monteros, where we will take the coach to the Karstic complex of Ojo Guareña in Sotoscueva, one of the largest in the world. Later on we will take the train from Sotoscueva to Cervera de Pisuerga, where we will spend the night in the FEVE station of Vado-Cervera. Dinner at the Parador of Fuentes Carrionas and night in Vado-Cervera.

■ Second day, FridayAs we enjoy a delicious breakfast, the train will reach Matallana, where we will take a coach to the Cuevas de Valporquero, who owes its fame to its stalactites, stalagmites and passes. In the afternoon, the train will take us to San Feliz, where we will take a coach to Leon. Visit to the this Roman city, where culture and art emanate from every pore. Visit to the Cathedral of Leon, San Isidoro, the old quarter and San Marcos. Dinner in its famous Prieto

■ Fourth day, SundayAfter a delicious breakfast, we will visit the village of Espinosa de los Monteros and Medina de Pomar, which is known for its Alcázar de los Condestables and its old quarter. Later on the train will take us to Balmaseda, where we will visit the Museo de Boinas La Encartada and have a meal featuring local dishes. El equipo está dirigido por el jefe de expedición, que como capitán del barco llevará las riendas de este crucero ferrovia-rio a buen puerto. En esta singladura le ayudarán la guía, el jefe de camareros, camareros, músico animador, personal de limpieza, de seguridad, maquinista, conductor de autocar y técnicos ferroviarios, que velarán para que el viajero no se tenga que preocupar más que de disfrutar del viaje.

La guía les acompañará en todas las visitas y se convertirá en compañera inseparable del grupo, incluso acompañándoles a los distintos restaurantes que hemos elegido para los almuer-zos y las cenas. Los desayunos-buffet serán servidos en los diferentes coches salón del tren.

En cualquier tren que elija y en cualquier itinerario, la Tripulación de los Trenes Turísticos de FEVE estará permanentemente a su servicio.

The Crew

The train’s crew is made up of professionals who are at travelers’ service. Whether you are in one of the lounge

cars or in your private compartment, you will receive the most personalised service from our professional staff.

The train’s crew is composed of a Director, and like a cruiseship master he will ensure that this cruise on rails fi nds a safe harbour. On this mission, he will be assisted by an on-board guide, a head waiter, waiters and waitresses, a musician, cleaning staff, security staff, a train driver, a conductor and specialist rail employees whose role it is to ensure that travelers enjoy the journey in comfort and style.

The guide will accompany the group at all visits and will become an inseparable companion, escorting the group to the different restaurants we have chosen for the lunches and dinners. Breakfasts will be served in the different lounge cars of the train.

No matter the train or the route you choose, the crew of the FEVE’s Tourist Trains will permanently be at your whole disposal.

mesa ha de desempeñar un papel de primer orden en cual-quiera de las rutas de los Trenes Turísticos. Galicia Asturias, Cantabria, el País Vasco y Castilla y León son, a juicio de los Chefs y los Gourmets más exigentes, las regiones donde se encuentra la mejor gastronomía de España. Sus quesos, embutidos, carnes, verduras, pescados y mariscos, tienen prestigio universal.

Los restaurantes de nuestra ruta no sólo escogen las materias primas de mayor calidad para ser elaboradas por grandes profesionales de los fogones, sino que son verdaderos centros de degustación de los platos de la tierra.

Todos nuestros menús incorporan cuidados y seleccionados vinos que se combinan armónicamente con los ingredientes de cada comida o cena. También incluyen café y licores.

As FEVE’s Tourist Trains traverses the Cantabrian Sea coast and the lands of old Castilla and Leon, good

food will obviously play an fi rst rate in every route of the Tourist Trains. Many of the most demanding gourmets and chefs maintain that Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, the Basque Country and Castilla y León offer the best cuisine of all the Spanish regions. The local cheese, sausages, meat, vegetables, fi sh and seafood are of international renown.

Restaurants in our routes don’t only select the highest quality ingredients to be prepared by great professionals, but are also a real opportunity to try the regional dishes.

All our menus incorporate carefully selected wines in order to harmonise with the ingredients of the meals served at each lunch and dinner. We also include coffee and spirits.

• Nos adaptaremos a sus necesidades, tanto en el recorrido y lu-gares a visitar como en los días de duración o en los contenidos del viaje. Diseñaremos un viaje a la medida de sus necesidades.

• Los trenes están perfectamente equipados para la realización de reuniones y cursos con todo el equipamiento necesario, así como para la realización de viajes de incentivos o meramente turísticos.

• El Transcantábrico Gran Lujo tiene una capacidad máxima de 28 personas alojadas en 14 suites de lujo.

• El Transcantábrico Clásico tiene una capacidad máxima de 54 personas alojadas en 27 suites dobles de cama de matrimonio.

• El Expreso de La Robla dispone de 27 compartimentos dobles de literas para un máximo de 54 personas.

• Los Trenes Turísticos del Norte realizan viajes y excursiones para grupos desde 85 personas hasta 514.

Servicios de los Trenes TurísticosLos Trenes Turísticos de FEVE disponen de los siguientes servi-cios:

• Servicio de Lavandería: Existe servicio diario, consultar con el personal de abordo.

• Servicio Médico: A bordo del tren existe un botiquín de prime-ros auxilios con desfi brilador. Además los servicios médicos de FEVE están a disposición del cliente si ello fuera necesario. Los Trenes Turísticos están coordinados con los distintos centros de salud de los lugares por los que discurren estos viajes.

• Menús especiales: El cliente que necesite seguir un régimen es-pecial de comidas puede solicitarlo al realizar su reserva.

• Seguro de Viaje: Es importante que el cliente contrate el seguro de viaje en su agencia habitual.

• El Transcantábrico Gran Lujo has a maximum capacity of 28 persons accommodated in 14 luxury suites.

• El Transcantábrico Clásico has a capacity of maximum 54 people hosted: 27 double suite.

• El Expreso de La Robla owns 27 double compartments with berths to a maximum of 52 people.

• The Trenes Turísticos del Norte make trips and made-to measure group outings from 85 to 514 people.

Other ServicesFEVE’s Tourist Trains own the following services:

• Laundry service: Daily service is available. Ask the staff on board.

• Medical service: There is a medicine chest with a defi brillator. FEVE’s own medical services are available to travelers should they be necessary. The Tourist Trains are coordinated with the Health Centers located on the places where these trips go through.

• Special menus: Travelers with special dietary needs may request their preference at the time they make their reservation.

• Travel insurance: it’s important that the costumer contracts a travel insurance at their regular travel agency.

Imprevistos Los itinerarios pueden estar sujetos a modifi caciones, por circunstancias ajenas al Organizador o a distintos problemas que pudieran surgir en un anormal funcionamiento de la malla de trenes en la que circulan los trenes Turísticos. En estos casos, el Organizador adoptará las soluciones adecuadas para la continuación del viaje organizado, sin suplemento alguno de precio para el cliente. Si el cliente continúa el viaje con las soluciones aportadas por la Organización, se considerará que acepta tácitamente dichas propuestas.

Forma de Pago • Viajes Regulares: Para la reserva de plazas, una vez remitida la con-

fi rmación de la reserva por parte de Trenes Turísticos, la Agencia de Viajes o Cliente asumirá la obligación ineludible de abonar a FEVE el 40% del total del precio establecido en tarifa, menos la comisión correspondiente. El 60% restante debe abonarse como mínimo 15 días antes del inicio del viaje. En caso de posibles cancelaciones y atendiendo a los plazos establecidos en las presentes condiciones ge-nerales, se aplicará la correspondiente penalización siempre y cuan-do exista documento escrito, independientemente de que aún no se haya satisfecho el 40% inicial.

• Viajes Charter: Para la contratación de un viaje Charter (fuera de la temporada regular), la Agencia de Viajes o Cliente deberá abonar el 40% del total de los costes fi jos presupuestados para ese viaje. En este momento la Organización bloqueará automáticamente la fecha, quedando ésta reservada. (Si no se produce el abono del 40% el viaje no se considerará reservado en fi rme). El 60% restante será abonado como mínimo 15 días antes del inicio del viaje.

Una vez efectuada la transferencia se remitirá por email (trenesturisti-cosdelujo@feve.es) o fax (+34 985 981 710) a la Organización de Trenes Turísticos de FEVE el impreso que acredite el pago realizado.

Cancelaciones La Agencia de Viajes o Cliente puede desistir de la reserva realizada en cualquier momento, teniendo derecho a la devolución de las cantidades que hubiera abonado, exceptuando el 15% del total a pagar, en concep-to de cuota de inscripción y garantía de reserva, que se irá incrementan-do de la siguiente manera:

– Cancelación entre 30 y 15 días: el 25 % del total a pagar. – Cancelación entre 14 y 05 días: el 50 % del total a pagar. – Cancelación entre 04 y 01 días: el 80 % del total a pagar. – Cancelación con menos de 24 horas o no presentación al viaje; el

100 % del total a pagar.

No habrá gastos de cancelación si el cliente cambia de una salida a otra, avisándonos con un mínimo de 30 días de antelación y siempre que realice el viaje dentro del año. Si una vez cambiada la reserva, cancela el viaje, los gastos serán del 100 %. Si varía la fecha de viaje avisándonos con menos de 30 días a la fecha de salida, conllevará una penalización del 15% sobre el total. FEVE Trenes Turísticos recomienda la contra-tación de un Seguro de Viajes que cubra los Gastos de Cancelación a través de su Agencia de Viajes o Aseguradora.

Unforeseen Circumstances The itineraries may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer or to problems that can occur in the nor-mal operation of the rail network on which El Transcantábrico runs. In these cases, the Organizer will adopt the most appropriate solutions for continuing the organized trip, with no extra charge to passengers. If pas-sengers continue the journey with the solutions provided by the Organi-zation, this is understood to signify tacit acceptance of these proposals.

Method of Payment • Normal Journeys: To reserve places during the Normal Season, after

receiving the confi rmation from El Transcantábrico, Travel Agents or Clients must put down a deposit of 40% of the rate for that year, minus the corresponding commission. The balance of 60% must be paid a minimum of 15 days before the start of the journey. In case of cancellation a fee will be charged according to the policy bellow, even if the 40% deposit has not yet been transferred.

• Charter Journeys: To contract a charter journey (outside the normal season), Travel Agencies or Clients must put down a deposit of 40% of the total of the fi xed costs quoted for that journey. At this time, the Organization will automatically block out the date so that it is reserved. (If the deposit for 40% of the journey is not made, a fi rm reservation is not considered to have been made). The balance of 60% must be paid a minimum of 15 days before the start of the journey.

Cancellations Travel Agencies or Clients can cancel reservations at any time, and have the right to a refund of the amount that they have paid, except for 15% of the total, which is charged as a handling and reservation guarantee fee. This fee increases as cancellations are made nearer to the departure date:

– Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days before the journey: 25% of the total to be paid.

– Cancellations made between 14 and 05 days before the journey: 50% of the total to be paid.

– Cancellations made between 04 and 01 days before the journey: 80% of the total to be paid.

– Cancellations made with less than 24 hours before the journey or no show: 100% of the total to be paid.

No cancellation fee will be charged if passengers change the dates, as long as they do this at least 30 days before the departure date and make the journey within one year. If, after changing the reservation, they then cancel the trip, the fee will be 100%. If they change the date of the jour-ney less than 30days before the departure date, a fee of 15% of the total will be charged. FEVE Trenes Turisticos recommends that passengers take out a travel insurance policy to cover the Cancellation Fee through their travel agent or insurance agent.
