Estás hablando con tu grupo de amigos, cuando de repente un eructo interrum-
pe tu graciosa conversación. ¡Tu rostro se vuelve rojo! y te preguntas ¿De dónde vino este eructo?
Extra gas Un eructo es simplemente gas. Cuando comes o be-bes, no tragas únicamente comida o líquido, también estás consumiendo aire. Y el aire que respiramos contiene gases como el nitrógeno y el oxígeno. Cuando tragamos estos ga-
ses, ellos necesitan buscar una manera de salir de nues-tro organismo. Allí es cuando los eructos aparecen. El extra gas de nuestro cuerpo viaja desde el estómago, pasa por el esófago hasta llegar a la boca en forma de eructo.
¿Qué los provoca? • Las bebidas gaseosas pro-vocan que eructemos más fácilmente.
• Comer o beber muy rápido permite que más aire entre al estómago. • Masticar chicle provoca que eructes más.
Eructar no es nada de otro mundo. Todo el mundo lo hace. Tu papá, tu maestra y hasta tu artista favorito. Así que la próxima vez que estés alrededor de un grupo de personas y sientes que un eructo quiere salir, cubre tu boca, trata de eructar sin ha-cer mucho ruido y recuerda decir “perdón”.

La fl or del cadáver es una de las más espectaculares del planeta. Se caracteriza por un desagradable olor putrefacto, muy similar al de la carne podrida o más precisamente al olor de un cadáver.

Es una fl or que posee un tallo alto y delgado. Sobre sus ramas, a simple vista, las fl ores parecieran estar fl otando, de ahí sale su nombre. Las fl ores son de color blanco.
Es una planta carnívora que se alimenta atrapando arácnidos, moscas y otros insectos. Consta de un par de hojas cubiertas por un fi no y delicado grupo de vellos sumamente sensibles que detectan la presencia de sus víctimas.

Este extraordinario telescopio
tiene dos espejos de 8.4 me-
tros de diámetro. Está en el
monte Graham en el estado
de Arizona en Estados Unidos
y es uno de los más avanzados
tecnológicamente. Hace poco
logró imágenes más nítidas
que el telescopio Hubble, que
está en el espacio.
