2. Apunte el control remoto al frente del receptor. El control tiene un rango de 7 metros en un ángulo de 60°.

Comenzando a usar

ConexionesPrecaución: Asegúrese de comprobar que la especificación de voltaje de la toma de pared es la misma con el receptor. Para evitar riesgo de descarga eléctrica, no abra la cubierta ni la parte posterior del receptor.

Nota: Cuando conecte el receptor a otro equipo, por ejemplo, TV, VCR y amplifica-dor, asegúrese de consultar el manual del usuario correspondiente para su instalación. Además, asegúrese de desconectar todos los equipos de la red eléctrica antes de la conexión.

Utilizando el control remoto

1. Abra el compartimento de baterías, coloque 2 baterías AAA, poniendo atención a la polaridad. Vuelva a colocar la tapa del compartimento de baterías.

Instalación

2. Point the remote control at the front of the receiver. The control has a range of 7 meters at an angle of 60 °.

Getting Started

ConnectionsCaution: Be sure to check that the voltage specification of the wall outlet is the same with the receiver. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not open the cover or the back of the receiver.

Note: When connecting the receiver to other equipment, eg TV, VCR and amplifier, be sure to consult the corresponding user manual for instructions. Also, be sure to disconnect all equipment from the mains before connecting.

Using the remote control

1. Open the battery compartment, insert 2 AAA batteries, paying attention to the polarity. Replace the battery cover.

Installation

Once all connections have been made correct-ly, turn on the TV and make sure that the receiver is connected to the main power. Press the power button to turn on the receiver. If you are using the receiver for the first time or restored to the factory default settings, the Main Menu appears on the TV screen.(1) Select [ channel search ] and press the RIGHT / LEFT key to select a language.(2) Once the channel tuning is complete, you are ready to watch TV.

Video SettingsTo access the Menu, press MENU and then select [ Image ]. The menu provides options for adjusting the video settings. Press UP / DOWN to select an option and press RIGHT / LEFT to adjust that setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.

Aspect ratioYou must set the display format to 4: 3 Pan Scan, 4: 3 Letter Box, 16: 9 Wide Screen or Auto for maximum viewing when watching TV.

ResolutionIf the video does not appear correctly, change the setting. This setting is to match the most common DV-OUT setting. [480i]: for the NTSC TV system. [480P]: for the NTSC TV system. [576i] for the PAL TV system. [576P]: for the PAL TV system. [720P]: for NTSC or PAL TV systems. [1080I]: for NTSC systemso PAL TV.

Setting the timeTo access the Menu, press MENU and then select [Time]. The menu provides options for adjusting the time settings. OptionTo access the Menu, press MENU and select [Option]. The menu offers options for adjusting the OSD language, subtitle language and audio language. Select an option and press RIGHT / LEFT to adjust the setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.(1) OSD Language: Select an OSD language.(2) Subtitle language: Select the preferred subtitle language.Audio language: Select the preferred audio language to watch TV channels. If the language is not available, the default language of the program will be used.

SystemTo access the menu, press MENU and select [System]. The menu offers options for adjusting system settings. Press the UP / DOWN key to select an option and press RIGHT / LEFT to adjust the setting. Press EXIT to exit the menu.

Parent GuideThe parental lock, which is used to control children who watch television, is not suitable.

Key SettingsSet or change the password for locked programs. Enter your old password or the default password '000000'. You will then be prompted to enter your new pass-word. To confirm, re-enter your new password. Once confirmed, press EXIT to exit the menu.

Restore factory defaultReset your Set Top Box to the factory default settings. In the main menu, select [Restore Factory Defaults] and press OK or RIGHT to select. Enter your password or the default password '000000' and press OK to confirm. This option will delete all channels and presets.

Software updateSelect to start the software update if USB is connecting and there is an update file.
