Fibrous waste such as manure containing straw, densefish waste or textiles in sewage pump stations can jamimpellers and put pumps out of commission. Even ifthis doesnt lead to flooding, a breakdown alwaysrequires attention. Problematic sumps can requirecostly servicing several times each month.

In response to this challenge, Flygts heavy-dutychopper pumps are equipped with a forceful impellerthat rotates inside a cutting plate. As fibrous wasteand debris pass through the impeller it is effortlesslychopped into small and easy-to-pump pieces. TheF-pump impellers make the problem of clogging athing of the past.
