VISITA DE LOS ALUMNOS ESPAÑOLES A BRAUNSCHWEIG

(20-27 ABRIL 2013)

A finales del mes de abril partimos rumbo a Berlín: diecinueve alumnos, quince de ellos de 1º

de Bachillerato, cuatro de 4º de ESO y una de 2º de Bachillerato, cambios derivados de bajas

por diversas circunstancias.

Camino de Barajas

En Berlín, nada más llegar, nos estaban esperando para hacer la visita guiada en autobús por

Berlín, aunque a veces parábamos para ver, por ejemplo, el Reichstag, la Puerta de

Brandeburgo, el Monumento al Holocausto, el Muro, etc.

Al día siguiente por la mañana visitamos la isla de los museos, empezamos por el Museo de

Pérgamo, luego el Neues Museum, y finalmente el Alten Museum.

Por la tarde del domingo 21 salimos en autobús para Braunschweig, donde estaban

esperándonos las parejas alemanas y sus familias.

Sunday, 21 April

approx. 19:00 – arrival at Lessinggymnasium (LG); Spanish pupils will be collected by their German host family – individual evening

Monday, 22 April

8:30 reception at LG (breakfast and welcome greeting by headmaster Mr Froben) 9:00 guided school tour by younger pupils; after that by tramway to Braunschweig (BS) city centre, guided tour city centre including cathedral 13:20 back at LG - individual afternoon

Tuesday, 23 April

7:55 – 13:20 ‘normal’ school day: Spanish pupils to sit in on in German English (or bilingual History/Geography/P.E. ) classes in small groups (according to a plan to be handed to them on Monday) – in between school rallye 15:30-17:30 football tournament, German barbecue

Wednesday, 24 April

7:55 -13:20 school day (see Tuesday minus the rallye) 16 - 17:30 canoeing/pedal boats on the Oker (swimmers only!)

Thursday, 25 April

9:15- approx. 16:30 day trip Wolfsburg (Volkswagen: Autostadt museum, guided tour in English VW works, lunch, free time)

options free time: Phaeno Science Museum (www.phaeno.de – very interactive and not boring at all!, tickets € 7,50) or Outlet Fashion Centre Wolfsburg (www.designeroutlets-wolfsburg.de) or Museum of Modern Art (www.kunstmuseum-wolfsburg.de, tickets €5,00) or some more time at the Autostadt (www.autostadt.de)
