DANZA EN PAISAJES URBANOS

Este año ha sido muy intenso: hemos viajado para invitar a nuestra ciudad compañías de una factura

extraordinaria, hemos explorado en busca de nuevas localizaciones y hemos creado un ciclo formativo para

nuestras compañías (no nos deja de emocionar el esfuerzo e ilusión que ponen en su trabajo). Además, damos

la bienvenida a las ciudades de Olot y Tournefeuille que junto con Huesca, cuentan con Trayectos en su

nuevo proyecto: “Ciudades 3.0.Laboratorio-Cultura-Futuro”, una apuesta para estrechar lazos y generar inter-

cambios. Sin olvidarnos de Teruel. Como veis no hemos parado y todo esto para compartirlo con vosotros.

Qué ganas teníamos de volver a veros!

It has been a very intense year: we have travelled to invite some excellent companies to our city; we haveexplored

in search of new locations and we have created a training cycle for our companies (the effort and enthusiasm they

put into their work does not cease to move us). We also wish to welcome the cities of Olot and Tournefeuille,

which, together with Huesca, count on Trayectos in their new project: “Cities 3.0. Laboratory-Culture-Future”, a

commitment to strengthen ties and generate exchanges. Not to forget Teruel. As you can see, we have not

stopped, with the aim of sharing all of this with you. We were really looking forward to seeing you again!

L’année a été marquée par un travail de longue haleine: nous sommes allés de part et d’autre pour inviter des

compagnies d’exception dans notre ville, nous sommes partis en quête de nouveaux espaces et nous avons mis en

place un cycle de formation destiné à nos compagnies (les efforts et l’enthousiasme dont elles font preuve

suscitent toujours autant d’émotion). Nous souhaitons également la bienvenue aux villes d’Olot et de Tournefeuille

qui aux côtés de Huesca ont fait appel à Trayectos pour leur nouveau projet “Ciudades 3.0. Laboratorio-Cultura-

Futuro” (en français, Villes 3.0 Laboratoire-Culture-Futur), matérialisant ce désir de resserrer les liens et de

favoriser les échanges. Nous n’oublions pas non plus la ville de Teruel. Comme vous pourrez le constater, nous avons

tout mis en œuvre pour vivre et partager cet événement avec vous. C’est un très grand plaisir de vous revoir!

OBJETIVOS / AIMS / OBJECTIFS

Trayectos pone en relación la danza contemporánea con la ciudad. El diseño artístico procura que la coreogra-

fía se adapte al lugar en que tiene lugar y que el espacio le dé a la danza una perspectiva particular. En definiti-

va, lo que se pretende es que danza y arquitectura adquieran un sentido especial al presentarse juntas.

Intentamos acercar la danza e implicar a todo el mundo, es decir, reforzar la audiencia interesada y seducir a la

no iniciada. En Trayectos, el público suele tener un papel más activo de lo habitual.

Por último, es objetivo de Trayectos contribuir al desarrollo de la danza contemporánea en Aragón. Para ello arti-

culamos los Programas de Refuerzo Profesional para bailarines y compañías aragonesas.

Trayectos links contemporary dance to the city. Artistic design tries to adapt dance to the place where it is

performed and to give space a particular perspective to dance. In short, we intend that dance and architecture,

showed together, will acquire a special sense.

We try to approach dance to everyone. We want to reinforce interested audience and seduce the new one. In

Trayectos, the audience usually has an active role.

In conclusion, one of Trayectos´ aims is to contribute to de developement of contemporary dance in Aragon.

Because of that we articulate Professional Reinforcement Programs to Aragonese companies and dancers.

Trayectos est un trait d’union entre la danse contemporaine et la ville. La conception artistique cherche à ce que

la chorégraphie s’adapte au lieu même du spectacle et que l’espace confère à la danse une perspective particu-

lière. Cette programmation vise, en définitive, à ce que la danse et l’architecture acquièrent ensemble un

sensparticulier. Nous essayons de rapprocher la danse et d’impliquer le grand public, c’est à dire renforcer les

spectateurs initiés et séduire le public peu familier à ce genre de spectacles. Il s’agit d’un festival où le public a

un rôle plus actif qu’à l’accoutumée.

Enfin, Trayectos veut contribuer au développement de la danse contemporaine en Aragon. C’est pourquoi nous orga-

nisons des programmes de perfectionnement professionnel destinés aux danseurs et aux compagnies aragonaises.

PRoGRAMAS DE REFUERZO

PROFESIONAL PARA COMPAÑÍAS ARAGONESAS

Trayectos mantiene un compromiso con el desarrollo de la danza contemporánea en Aragón que va mucho más

allá de la programación de varias compañías aragonesas dentro del festival. El festival articula una serie de meca-

nismos para estimular artísticamente y estabilizar profesionalmente a las compañías y bailarines. Lo hacemos a

través de Programas de Refuerzo Profesional.

1. Programas de Formación

Ofrece un catálogo de formación extensivo, destinada al desarrollo de la danza contemporánea a través de la

dotación de nuevas herramientas artísticas y profesionales.

1.1. Programa de Apoyo Coreográfico General

Ciclo de formación abierto a bailarines, coreógrafos y pedagogos aragoneses. Cursos y talleres con tres enfo-

ques: clases magistrales, cursos sobre técnica y composición coreográfica y sobre disciplinas tangenciales pero

de interés directo.

• Jorge Jáuregui, composición coreográfica.

• E. Grivet, improvisación.

• Navala Chaudhari, yoga.

• Bonachela Dance Company, clase magistral.

1.2. Programa de Apoyo Coreográfico Específico

A través de este programa, las compañías adscritas reciben el asesoramiento y la asistencia coreográfica de un

coreógrafo para componer una pieza que se estrena dentro del festival con la idea de que se incorpore a su reper-

torio coreográfico.

El propósito de este programa es doble: por una parte, pretende que compañías y bailarines aragoneses constru-

yan un repertorio coreográfico amplio y de calidad, de forma que tengan mayores oportunidades en el mercado de

artes escénicas. Por otra parte, se trata de que los artistas entren en contacto con nuevos procesos creativos.

En esta edición de Trayectos las compañías incorporadas al programa de asistencia coreográfica son:

• Tarde o Temprano con Damián Muñoz.

• Ana Continente y Victor Jiménez con Jorge Jáuregui.

• Cetra con Javier Sangrós.

• Decúbito Supino con Cecilia Colacrai y Jorge Albuerne.

2. Programas de Movilidad

Contiene los acuerdos de colaboración e intercambio que Trayectos establece con otras estructuras comprome-

tidas con el desarrollo de la danza contemporánea en sus respectivos territorios.

Acuerdo de Intercambio entre las autonomías País Vasco-Aragón-Cataluña, vehiculizado a través de los festiva-

les Dies de Dansa (Cataluña) y Lekuz-Leku (País Vasco). Se crea un circuito dinámico de información y contacto

y un sistema de intercambio de compañías.

Acción para 2009:

• La compañía aragonesa Cetra actuará en Bilbao y Barcelona.

• Trayectos acoge a Natxo Montero Danza y a Angels Margarit / Cie Mudances.

INTERCAMBIO ENTRE LAS AUTONOMÍAS DE PAÍS VASCO - ARAGÓN - CATALUÑA

Los festivales Dies de Dansa de Cataluña, Trayectos de Aragón, Lekuz Leku del País Vasco y la red internacional

de danza en espacios urbanos CQD ponen en marcha un proyecto de colaboración y proponen crear un sistema

dinámico de cooperación, desde los diferentes festivales de las ciudades de Barcelona, Zaragoza y Bilbao con el

fin de compartir proyectos e información.

OBJETIVOS

• Contribuir al fortalecimiento del sector de la danza, a que nuestros artistas se sientan apoyados, a ampliar la

difusión y el conocimiento de la oferta cultural y, en general, contribuir al aumento de la temperatura creativa.

• Establecer una plataforma de intercambio y colaboración entre estas ciudades.

• Realizar producciones conjuntas que integren bailarines de las diferentes ciudades creando una coreografía a

partir de espacios concretos.

• Establecer una plataforma de reflexiones y debates sobre la relación de la danza, el arte, los espacios urbanos

/ públicos y el público.

• Realizar acciones conjuntas de comunicación y promoción para conseguir una mayor proyección nacional e

internacional, tanto para los festivales de estas ciudades, como para las compañías, creadores y profesionales

del ámbito en estas ciudades.

• Ampliar la difusión y el conocimiento en España de la oferta cultural en danza (difusión en tres comunidades).

• Ofrecer un buen ejemplo de colaboración entre festivales de un mismo país.

Creemos que la colaboración regional entre nuestros festivales fomenta el sector de danza de cada comunidad

y difunde el modelo de la danza en paisajes urbanos.

PROFESSIONAL REINFORCEMENT

PROGRAMMS FOR COMPANIES

Trayectos is not only the performance of several Aragonese companies in the festival but also has a commitment

with the development of contemporary dance in Aragon.This festival articulates some ways to stimulate artisticly

and stabilize professionally the Aragonese companies and dancers. We do it through the Professional

Reinforcement Programms:

1. Training Programmes

An extensive training catalogue is offered, with the aim of developing contemporary dance through new

professional and artistic tools.

1.1. General Choreographic Support Programme

Training cycle open to dancers, choreographers and teachers of Aragon. Courses and workshops with three

approaches: master classes, courses on choreographic composition and technique and on tangential disciplines

but of direct interest.

• Jorge Jáuregui, choreographic composition.

• E. Grivet, improvisation.

• Navala Chaudhari, yoga.

• Bonachela Dance Company, master class.

1.2. Specific Choreographic Support Programme

Through this program, the companies are advised and assisted by a choreographer of worldwide renown to

create a piece that will be performed in the festival with the idea of incorporating it into his/her choreographical

repertoire. There is a double aim to this program: on the one hand, Aragonese companies and dancers will

create a wide choreographical repertoire with good quality, so that they will have more opportunities in the Scenic

Arts world. On the other hand, artists are supposed to get in contact with new creative processes.

In this edition The companies in the Choreographical Assistance Program are:

• Tarde o Temprano, will count on Damián Muñoz.

• Ana Continente and Victor Jiménez will count on Jorge Jáuregui.

• Cetra will count on Javier Sangrós.

2. Mobility Programmes

It contains the collaboration and exchange agreements that Trayectos establishes with other structures committed

to the development of contemporary dance in their respective territories.

Exchange Agreement between the Basque Country, Aragon and Catalonia regions, channelled through the Dies

de Dança (Catalonia) and Lekuz-Leku (Basque Country) festivals, which has created a dynamic information and

contact circuit as well as a company exchange system.

Action for 2008:

• The Aragonese Cetra will perform in Bilbao and Barcelona.

• Trayectos receives Natxo Montero Danza and Angels Margarit / Cié Mudances from Barcelona

EXCHANGE BETWEEN THE BASQUE COUNTRY - ARAGON - CATALONIA REGIONS

The Festivals, Dies de Dansa of Catalonia, Trayectos of Aragon, Lekuz Leku of the Basque Country and the

international CQD (dancing cities) network, start up a collaboration project and propose creating a dynamic

cooperation system, based on the different festivals of the cities of Barcelona, Zaragoza and Bilbao with a view to

sharing projects and information.

OBJECTIVES

• Help strengthen the dance sector, to make our artists feel supported, increase the dissemination and knowledge

of the cultural offer and, in general, help increase the creative temperature.

• Establish an exchange and collaboration platform between these cities.

• Carry out joint products that integrate dancers from different cities, creating a choreography based on specific spaces.

• Establish a platform to reflect on and discuss the relationship of dance, art, urban/public spaces and the public.

• Carry out joint communication and promotion actions to improve the national and international projection, both

for the festivals of these cities and for the companies, creators and professionals of the sector in these cities.

• Increase the dissemination and knowledge of the cultural dance offer in Spain (dissemination in three communities).

• Offer a good example of collaboration between festivals in one same country.

We believe that the regional collaboration between our festivals fosters the dance sector of each community and

disseminates the model of dancing in urban landscapes.

PROGRAMMES DE PERFECTIONNEMENT

PROFESSIONNEL POUR DES COMPAGNIES

Trayectos s’est engagé dans le développement de la danse contemporaine en Aragon qui va bien au-delà de la

programmation de plusieurs compagnies aragonaises.

Une série de mécanismes a été mise en place pour créer une effervescence artistique et stabiliser, professionnellement

parlant, les compagnies et les danseurs aragonais. Aussi trois programmes de perfectionnement professionnel sont-

ils proposés:

1. Programmes de formation

Trayectos offre un catalogue de formation complète, visant le développement de la danse contemporaine grâce à

l’acquisition de nouveaux outils artistiques et professionnels

1.1. Programme général de soutien chorégraphique

Cycle de formation ouvert aux danseurs, chorégraphes et professeurs aragonais. Des cours et des ateliers sont

proposés en trois parties: master-classes, approche de la technique et de la composition chorégraphique et

initiation aux disciplines annexes.

• Jorge Jáuregui, composition chorégraphique.

• E. Grivet, improvisation.

• Navala Chaudhari, yoga.

• Bonachela Dance Company, master-classe.

1.2. Programme spécial de soutien chorégraphique

Ce programme permet aux compagnies inscrites de travailler auprès d´un chorégraphe de renom international

pour composer une pièce qui sera prèsentèe au festival puis inscrite à leur répertoire. Le but de ce programme

est double: il cherche, d´une part, á ce que les compagnies et les danseurs aragonais construisent un répertoire

chorégraphique large et de qualité de manière à multiplier leus chances sur le marché des arts de la scène. D´autre

part, il permet aux artistes de découvrir de nouveaux procédés de création.

Dans cette édition de Trayectos, les compagnies inscrites au programme d´aide chorégraphique sont les suivantes:

Ana Continente travaillera avec Jorge Jáuregui.

Cetra travaillera avec Javier Sangrós.

Decúbito Supino travaillera avec Cecilia Colacrai y Jorge Albuerne.

2. Programmes de mobilité

Contient les accords de collaboration et d’échange que Trayectos a mis en place avec d’autres structures

engagées dans le développement de la danse contemporaine sur leurs territoires respectifs.

L’accord d’échanges entre les communautés autonomes Pays Basque-Aragon-Catalogne, mis en place avec

les festivals Dies de Dança (Catalogne) et Lekuz-Leku (Pays Basque), permet de créer un circuit dynamique

d’informations et de contact et un réseau d’échanges entre les différentes compagnies.

Actions prévues pour 2009:

• La compagnie aragonaise, Cetra, se produira à Bilbao et à Barcelona.

• Trayectos accueillera Natxo Montero- Danza et la compagnie Angels Margarit /Cíe Mudances.

ACCORD D’ÉCHANGE ENTRE LES COMMUNAUTÉS AUTONOMES

DU PAYS BASQUE, D’ARAGON ET DE CATALOGNE

Les festivals Dies de Dansa de Catalogne, Trayectos d’Aragon, Lekuz Leku du Pays Basque et le réseau interna-

tional de danse dans les espaces urbains, CQD, mettent en place un projet de collaboration et proposent de créer

un système dynamique de coopération, à partir des différents festivals des villes de Barcelone, de Saragosse et

de Bilbao afin de partager et d’échanger des projets et des informations.

OBJECTIFS

• Contribuer au renforcement du secteur de la danse pour que nos artistes se sentent soutenus, élargir la

diffusion et la connaissance de l’offre culturelle et en général, stimuler l’effervescence créative.

• Établir une plate-forme d’échange et de collaboration entre ces villes.

• Réaliser des coproductions avec des danseurs de différentes villes, en créant une chorégraphie à partir

d’espaces concrets.

• Établir une plate-forme de réflexions et de débats sur le rapport de la danse, l’art, les espaces urbains/publics

et le public.

• Réaliser des actions conjointes de communication et de promotion pour obtenir une meilleure projection nationale

et internationale tant pour les festivals de ces villes que pour leurs compagnies, leurs créateurs et leurs professionnels.

• Élargir la diffusion et la connaissance en Espagne de l’offre culturelle en danse (diffusion dans les trois communautés)

• Offrir un bon exemple de collaboration entre les festivals d’un même pays.

Nous pensons que la collaboration régionale entre nos festivals est bénéfique pour le secteur de la danse de

chaque communauté et permet de diffuser le modèle de la danse dans les paysages urbains.

TRAYECTORIALa pieza Cuadra-T se crea en el año 2008 y fueestrenada en la primera edición del Festival Empapedentro del marco Ciudades Que Danzan en ACoruña. Posteriormente fue seleccionada para laXXII edición del Certamen Coreográfico de Madridsiendo galardonada con tres premios.

Álvaro y Natxo tras haber trabajado por separadoen distintas compañías, ese mismo año formanparte del equipo artístico del Centro CoreográficoGalego en el espectáculo “Kiosco das almas perdi-das” y de ahí este encuentro que dio lugar a la cre-ación de Cuadra-T.

CAREER PATHThe piece, Cuadra-T, is created in 2008 and wasperformed for the first time at the Empape Festivalwithin the framework of Dancing Cities in A Coruña.Later it was selected for the XXII edition of theChoreographic Contest in Madrid, and was awardedthree prizes.

That same year, Álvaro and Natxo, after having wor-ked separately in different companies, formed partof the artistic team of Centro Coreografico Galego inthe show “Kiosco das almas perdidas”. This mee-ting gave rise to the creation of Cuadra-T.

SINOPSISPara esta pieza el bailarin y coreografo Storm seha inspirado en diferentes composiciones musica-les clásicas. Nos propone una improvisación conesta música y con todo el vocabulario y tecnica delhip-hop.

TRAYECTORIANiels “Storm” Robitzky nació en 1969 en Alemania.Es bailarín autodidacta y en la década de losochenta se especializó en las técnicas HipHop deB-Boying, Locking y Popping. Adquirió experienciaen este estilo de danzas gracias a numerosos con-tactos con bailarines de Hip-Hop de la primerageneración y en numerosas giras por Europay América del Norte. Desde 1993 Storm vive enBerlín, donde en 1996 fundó la compañía “TheStorm & Jazzy Project”, que con sus coreografíasestuvo presente en teatros y festivales europeoshasta finales de la década de los noventa.

SYNOPSISFor this piece the dance and choreographer, Store,has drawn inspiration from different classicalmusic compositions. He proposes an improvisa-tion with this music and with the entire hip-hoptechnique vocabulary.

CAREER PATHNiels "Storm" Robitzky was born in Germany in1969. It is a self-taught dancer and in the eighties hespecialised in B-Boying, Locking and PoppingHip-Hop techniques. TRAYECTORIADesde 1976, Àngels Margarit ha podido vivir ladanza desde sus diferentes facetas: bailarina,pedagoga y coreógrafa.

En 1985 crea Àngels Margarit / Cia. Mudances, conla cual produce sus propios proyectos y espectácu-los que han sido coproducidos y presentados enfestivales y programaciones de Europa, Canadá,EEUU, Sudamérica, Japón y Australia. TRAYECTORIATarde o Temprano Danza se crea en 2004 enZaragoza, desde entonces desarrolla la mayor partede su actividad en espectáculos de calle buscandola complicidad del espectador y jugando con sumemoria sensorial, con alguna incursión en los tea-tros. Desde 2009 tienen su residencia en la Pueblade Alfindén, donde realiza una labor de difusión dela danza y de investigación artística.

Since2009 they reside in La Puebla de Alfinden, fromwhere they work to disseminate dance and artis-tic research.

SYNOPSIS Il faut toujours faire un choix. Alors prends celle qui teplaît le plus, en espérant que cette fois-ci soit la bonne,qu’elle soit douce. Oublie tout le reste et toutes cellesque tu n’as pas choisies et prends la tienne dans tesdeux mains, pèle-la et sépare les quartiers. Laisse cou-ler le jus le long de tes coudes et par terre pour qu’il secolle à tes pieds. Pendant que tu la presses, pense quetu n’auras peut-être plus d’autre occasion.

PARCOURSTarde o Temprano Danza voit le jour à Saragosse en2004. Depuis, la compagnie se consacre essentie-llement à des spectacles de rue, recherchant lacomplicité du spectateur tout en jouant avec samémoire sensorielle. Elle s’est également produitedans différentes salles de théâtre. Depuis 2009, lacompagnie est installée dans le village de la Pueblade Alfindén où elle mène à bien un travail de diffu-sion de la danse et de recherche artistique.

Másrecientemente, Kevin ha fundado la empresaChameleon con el codirector artístico AnthonyMissen y Navala ha continuado su labor como codi-rectora artística de la compañía Decalage junto consu fundador, Mickael Riviere. Al conocerse se dieroncuenta de que poseían una visión artística común yuna conexión física natural. Amaranthine nació deldeseo de crear un dúo potente e interdisciplinario.Durante el periodo en que colaboraron con la com-pañía Decalage para optar a un puesto en el veranode 2008 Kevin y Navala crearon un dúo, ¡que se con-virtió en el punto de partida de Amaranthine!

Estas fluctuaciones perpetuasse convierten en una organización espacial y, eneste contexto, el cuerpo reacciona de manera dife-rente según el lugar y el tiempo. “A Contresens” sillonne, à sa façon, le quotidien deshommes en s’intéressant aux mouvements dessinéspar les trajets, les va-et-vient, les entrées et sortiesde chez soi à la rue. Ces oscillations perpétuellesprennent le pli d’une organisation spatiale détermi-née, et le corps, dans ce contexte, réagit distincte-ment selon le lieu et le temps. Ainsi cette pièceproduit-elle une “situation pour le corps” permettantde mesurer la valeur du “corps en situation”.

Su objetivo en la actualidad es profundi-zar en las técnicas contemporáneas de creacióny acercar la técnica a la expresión. Las intérpretesde la pieza se forman en danza clásica, danza con-temporánea, danza vertical, aéreos e interpretación.Ambas han trabajado en diversos espectáculos dedanza, circo y teatro de calle.
