Síntesis de los Logros del Proyecto:

Los cinco participantes actuales en el proyecto son todos Profesores Titulares de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Unidad Iztapalapa y además, son miembros del Sistema Nacional de investigadores (1 Emérito, 2 de Nivel III, 1 de Nivel II y 1 de Nivel I). En total, durante los últimos cinco años (2016-2020), han publicado un total de 90 artículos de investigación en revistas predominantemente indizadas o internacionales con arbitraje estricto. Bajo la tutoría de los mismos profesores, en el mismo periodo se han concluido 3 proyectos (tesinas) de licenciatura, 5 tesis de Maestría y 2 de Doctorado en la UAMI. Adicionalmente, en diciembre de 2020, están en proceso 8 tesis con avances varios en los tres niveles, con asesores del proyecto.

Como resultado de la calidad del trabajo de investigación de los integrantes del proyecto, en 2020, el CONACYT aprobó el proyecto titulado “Características cardinales de estructuras algebraico-topológicas con el monto de 1,409,450.00 pesos; además, el Área de Topología fue dictaminada “Consolidado” por el PRODEP en la revisión de 2020.
