NOTAS v  When using SER followed by a noun – do NOT use

an article UNLESS you are modifying/describing the noun:

v  Son carpinteros

v  Son unos buenos carpinteros.

EXPRESIONES IMPERSONALES

v  IMPERSONAL EXPRESSIONS: in English we say “IT’S important . . .” or “IT’S true” to state an impersonal expression (there’s no real subject – what does “IT” refer back to??)- - SPANISH uses:
