“¿Crees que voy a ponerme celoso? Ojalá todo el pueblo fuera
profeta” Esas son las palabras de Moisés en la primera lectura, y
tiene toda la razón, pues precisamente para eso es que hemos sido
bautizados, para vivir el evangelio y para ponerlo en práctica, para
hacer nuestras las Palabras del Señor que nos invitan y nos indican
lo que debemos hacer, pero somos de corazón duro, preferimos
hacer otras cosas, cosas que nos alejan de Dios porque el enemigo
nos las impone en el corazón, en lugar de hacer el bien, hacemos
el mal y lo peor de todo es que pensamos que está bien. En la
segunda lectura hay palabras duras, difíciles y no son palabras
únicamente, son amenazas contra aquellos que hacen el mal, pero
les advierte que lloren y se lamenten por las desgracias que a ellos
les esperan. En el evangelio, hay una conexión con la primera
lectura en la que se dice que hay quienes están luchando en contra
del mal, haciendo cosas buenas “hemos visto a uno que expulsaba
a los demonios en tu nombre” le dice Pedro a Jesús y luego Jesús
responde: “No hay nadie que haga milagros en mi nombre, que
luego sea capaz de hablar mal de mí”. Palabras serias, palabras
sabias, palabras duras que hablan de fe, de lealtad, de fidelidad,
son palabras que nos interpelan, que los confrontan y nos
preguntan al mismo tiempo: “¿Qué he hecho yo para construir el
reino de Dios aquí en la tierra? ¿De qué manera vivo el evangelio?
¿Cómo soy capaz de ponerlo en práctica? Si nosotros amamos a
Dios, y decimos que sí lo amamos, entonces se notaría
indiscutiblemente que amamos a Dios cuando amamos a nuestro
prójimo, y más aún, cuando recibimos la Santa Eucaristía, es decir,
el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo, entonces deberíamos de ser
capaces de hacer milagros. Pero nos falta fe, nos falta ser fieles a
Dios y a su llamado, nos falta ser congruentes con el bautismo que
hemos recibido, pues a través de él, somos capaces de luchar,
de pelear con uñas y dientes por Dios y por el reino. Pues como
dice Jesús en el evangelio, que “cualquier cosa, por pequeña que
esa sea no quedará sin recompensa” y yo agregaría que tampoco
quedará sin castigo porque cuando pecamos y hacemos que los
justos y los sencillos se aparten de Dios, Dios también toma en
cuenta todo eso. “Es mejor entrar tuerto, o cojo o manco en el
reino de los cielos que ser arrojados al lugar donde el gusano
no muere y donde el fuego no se apaga”
