¿Qué es el Sistema HLA?
En el hombre el CMH es denominado HLA (Antígenos Leucocitarios Humanos).
Son glicoproteínas que se encuentran sobre las superficies de todas las células nucleadas.
Estos antígenos juegan un papel importante en el reconocimiento de antígenos extraños.

•Las moléculas de clase I : Son expresadas por la mayoría de células con núcleo.

La expresión de un determinado alelo MHC clase II en un individuo determina su capacidad para responder frente a determinados antígenos.
Los caucásicos que son homocigotos para el haplotipo HLA B8,DR3, DQ2 son poco respondedores al antígeno de superficie del VHB,
