El reproductor de CD con radio se ha construidoexclusivamente para la re-producción de CDs demúsica y para escuchar los programas de Radio. El reproductor de CD con radio no se ha previstopara su uso comercial o bien industrial.No se asume ninguna garantía por daños resultan-tes de un uso no conforme al previsto del aparato.

Indicaciones de seguridad

• Este aparato no ha sido concebido para ser utili-zado por personas (incluyendo niños) con disca-pacidad física, sensorial o psíquica, o por aquel-las que no tengan la suficiente experiencia oconocimientos, a no ser que, para su propia se-guridad sean supervisadas por una persona re-sponsable o reciban de ella las correspondien-tes instrucciones sobre su utilización.

• Vigile a los niños para asegurarse de que nojuegan con el aparato.

• Para evitar una conexión involuntaria, desconec-te el aparato de la red después de cada uso yantes de cada limpieza.

• El adaptador de red debe resultar siempre fácilmente accesible para que en caso de emer-gencia el aparato se pueda desconectar rápida-mente de la red.

• Los niños no deben tener acceso a las pilas. Losniños pueden meterse las pilas en la boca y tra-gárselas. En caso de ingestión accidental deuna pila hay que avisar inmediatamente a unmédico.

¡Peligro de descarga eléctrica!• Conecte el aparato únicamente a una base de

enchufe instalada y conectada a tierra de acuer-do con la normativa. La tensión de red debe cor-responderse a los datos de la placa de caracter-ísticas del aparato.

• No utilice el aparato con la línea de alimentaci-ón o la clavija de red dañados.

• Deje que el servicio de asistencia técnica repareo en su caso sustituya la línea de conexión o bienlos aparatos que no funcionen correctamente.

• No exponga el aparato a lluvia ni utilicelo ja-más en entornos mojados o húmedos.

• Cuide de que la línea de alimentación no se mojeo humedezca nunca durante el funcionamiento.

• Queda prohibido abrir la carcasa del aparato ointentar repararlo. En este caso no estará prote-gido y perderá el derecho a la garantía.

• Proteja el aparato contra gotas y salpicadurasde agua. Para ello, no coloque ningún recipien-te que contenga líquido (p.ej. jarrón con flores)encima del aparato.

Nota acerca de la desconexión deredEl interruptor de RADIO/OFF/CD del aparato nolodesconecta completamente de la red eléctri-ca.Además, en el modo inactivo el aparatotambiénconsume corriente. Para desconectarel aparatocompletamente de la red es nece-sario extraer laclavija de red de la base deenchufe.

Riesgo de incendio!• No utilice nunca el aparato en la proximidad de

superficies calientes.• No coloque el aparato en lugares donde quede

expuesto a la radiación solar directa. De otromodo podría sobrecalentarse y dañarse de for-ma irreparable.

• No deje nunca el aparato desatendido durantesu funcionamiento.

• Nunca cubra la rejilla de ventilación del apara-to mientras que este encendido.

• No coloque nunca fuentes de incendio abiertas,tales como p. ej. velas sobre el aparato.

Peligro de lesiones!• Mantenga los niños alejados de la línea de co-

nexión y del aparato. Los niños a veces meno-sprecian los riesgos que entrañan los aparatoseléctricos.

• Procure un asiento estable del aparato.• En caso de que se caiga el aparato o esté daña-

do, no deberá ponerlo de nuevo en funciona-miento. Deje que compruebe el aparato perso-nal espe-cialista cualificado y en su caso que lorepare.

• Los niños no deben tener acceso a las pilas. Losniños pueden meterse las pilas en la boca yatragantarse.

¡Tormenta!En caso de una tormenta, los aparatos conectados a la red eléctrica podrían dañarse.Por eso, en caso de una tormenta desconecteel aparato siemprede la red.

Advertencia sobre tensiones transitorias (EFT/transitorio eléctricorápido) y descargas electroestáticas:En caso de un fallo por transitorios eléctricosrápidos (tensión transitoria) o descargas electroestáticas se deberá volver a iniciar elproducto para restablecer el funcionamientonormal. Posiblemente se deberá interrumpir la alimentación eléctrica y volver a conectar elaparato a la red. Se deberán retirar las pilas(si están puestas) y volver a colocarlas.

Advertencia: Tenga en cuenta que los pies de goma delaparato pueden dejar marcas en las superfi-cies pintadas, delicadas o tratadas de otramanera. Coloque en su caso una base antides-lizante debajo de los pies del aparato.

Antes del primer uso

Colocación• Extraiga el reproductor de CD con Radio y el

accesorio del embalaje.• Retire todos los bloqueadores de seguridad para

el transporte y las cintas/láminas adhesivas.

Atención: No deje que los niños jueguen con los plásti-cos. ¡Podrían asfixiarse!

• Coloque el reproductor de CD con Radio sobreuna superficie horizontal plana. Coloque el repro-ductor de CD con Radio de modo que la tapa delcompartimiento de CD se pueda abrir por comple-to. Para ello se ha de plegar el asa 1 hacia atrás.

Insertar las pilasPara utilizar el reproductor de CD con radio con pi-las, introduzca 6 pilas de 1,5 V tipo D/LR20 en elalojamiento de las mismas (las pilas no están conte-nidas en el suministro).• Abra el compartimiento de pilas en el lado infe-

rior del aparato.• Inserte las pilas en el compartimiento de pilas te-

niendo en cuenta la polaridad representada enel compartimiento de pilas.

• Cierre de nuevo la tapa del compartimiento delas pilas cuidadosamente, hasta que se encaje.

Manejo de las pilasPilas que se derramen pueden producir dañosen reproductor de CD con Radio.

• Si no utiliza el reproductor de CD con Radiodurante un tiempo prolongado, es aconseja-ble retirar las pilas.

• Sustituya todas las pilas usadas simultánea-mente, utilice pilas del mismo tipo.

• Si las pilas se han vaciado, utilice guantesprotectores y limpie el compartimiento delas pilas con un trapo seco.

Alimentación de corriente• Conecte la clavija del cable de red a la conexión

en que hay en la parte posterior del aparato.• Conecte la clavija de red a una base enchufe.El reproductor de CD con radio detecta automática-mente la conexión del cable a la red eléctrica y co-necta automáticamente el modo de red.

Utilización

Encendido y apagado del aparato /Selección de fuentes de sonidoPara encender el aparato, seleccionar una fuentede sonido con el interruptor de función:• CD• Radio1.Coloque el interruptor de función a la posición

correspondiente a la fuente de sonido que de-sea escuchar.

2.Para apagar el aparato, coloque el interruptorde función a la posición "OFF".

Ajustar el volumenPuede ajustar el volumen en el regulador de volu-men.• Para aumentar el volumen, gire el Regulador de

volumen en sentido horario.• Para disminuir el volumen, gire el Regulador de

volumen en sentido anthorario.

Utilizar auricularesTambién puede usar un reproductor de CD con Ra-dio y un auricular con conector de auriculares esté-reo de 3,5 mm. La conexión de los auricularesestán ubicados en el dorsal del reproductor de CDcon Radio. Una vez que haya conectado los auricu-lares, los altavoces se apagarán y sólo podrá oír elsonido a través de los auriculares.• Inserte el Jack de los auriculares en la toma

para auriculares.

Atención:¡Antes ponerse unos auriculares, baje el volu-men al mínimo! ¡Exponer la oída a un volu-men demasiado alto repentinamente o du-rante un tiempo prolongado puede dañarla!

Funciones de radio

1. Levante la antena telescópica y desplieguela.Oriente la antena telescópica de modo que larecepción sea óptima.

Para la recepción de emisoras MW (AM) existeuna antena receptora fija incorporada. Gire enmodo de funcionamiento de Radio el aparato com-pleto hasta lograr la mejor recepción. 2. Ajuste la gama de sintonización (AM/FM/FM ST.)

con el selector de bandas. Con el ajuste deFM ST, el programa de Radio emitido en estéreo,

es reproducido en estéreo. Si se recibe el programa con plena intensidadde emisora en estéreo, se ilumina la indicaciónde FM estéreo.

Indicación: Si la señal estéreo del área de recepción FM STes demasiado débil, es posible que la recepci-ón mejore al seleccionar la opción FM. Con esteajuste el sonido es reproducido en Mono.

3. Ajuste girando el sintonizador, la emisora deRadio buscada.

Funciones de CD

Introducir CD• Seleccione con el interruptor de función la funci-

ón de CD.• Pliegue el asa hacia abajo.• Para abrir el alojamiento para CDs, presione la

tapa por el punto marcado con OPEN/CLOSE y acontinuación suéltela.

La tapa de la bandeja de CD se levantará hacia ar-riba.• Introduzca el CD con la cara impresa mirando ha-

cia arriba centrado en el alojamiento para CDs.Preste atención a que el orificio central del CDquede colocado sobre el cono del plato giratorio.


• Para cerrar el alojamiento para CDs, presione latapa por el punto marcado con OPEN/CLOSE hastaque se enclave.

En el Display se visualiza después de un parpadeocorto „--“ la cantidad de las pistas del CD.

Extraer CD• Pulse la tecla STOP y espere hasta que no gire el

CD.

El CD no debe girar al abrir la bandejadel CD. El CD podría dañarse de forma ir-reparable.

• Para abrir la bandeja del CD, presione la tapaen OPEN/CLOSE.

• Extraiga el CD.

Iniciar reproducción• Pulse la tecla PLAY/PAUSE.En el display visualizará „PLAY“ y sonará el primertítulo.

Detener reproducción• Pulse la tecla Stop.

Interrumpir/continuar reproducción • Pulse durante la reproducción la tecla PLAY/PAUSE.En el display parpadea la indicación "PLAY“.• Para continuar la reproducción, pulse la tecla

PLAY/PAUSE de nuevo.

Saltar pista hacia delante y haciaatrás• Para reproducir el título siguiente en un CD, pul-

se durante la reproducción las veces necesariasla tecla NEXT, hasta que aparezca el número deltítulo buscado.

• Para reproducir el título anterior un CD, pulsedurante la reproducción las veces necesarias latecla BACK, hasta que aparezca el número del título buscado.

Avanzar y retroceder pista• Pulse durante la reproducción la tecla NEXT o

bien la tecla BACK.• Manténgala pulsada hasta que haya alcanzado

la posición deseada en la pista.

Función de repetición (REPEAT)Con la función de repetición puede repetir cadauno de los títulos de un CD o reproducir repetida-mente todos los títulos de un CD.• Para repetir títulos individuales pulse la tecla RE-

PEAT.En el display parpadea RPT.• Para repetir todos los títulos de un CD, pulse dos

veces la tecla REPEAT.En el display se muestra RPT.• Para finalizar la repetición, pulse la tecla Repeat

las veces necesarias hasta que se apague RPT.

Programar sucesión de pistasPuede programarse el orden de reproducción dehasta 20 títulos dentro de un mismo CD. Esto sóloes posible si la reproducción está detenida.• Pulse la tecla PROGRAM.En el display parpadea el texto PRG01 para indi-car el puesto de programación 1, cuyo título se re-producirá en primer lugar.• A continuación, con las teclas NEXT y BACK, selec-

cione el título que desea asignar al puesto deprogramación 1.

• Para guardar los ajustes pulse la Tecla Programa.En el display aparece el texto PRG02 para el pue-sto de programación 2.• Para programar más pistas, repita los pasos pre-

cedentes.Si están asignadas todas las 20 posiciones de me-moria, se visualizan los números de títulos en ordencorrelativo en el display. A continuación parpadea 01.• Inicie la reproducción programada pulsando la

tecla PLAY/PAUSE.

La secuencia de títulos programada se borra...- Si durante la reproducción se pulsa dos veces la

tecla STOP. El texto PRG desaparece.- Si se abre el alojamiento para CDs.- Si se apaga y se vuelve a encender el aparato.

Consultar secuencia de títulos programada• Pulse durante la reproducción programa da la

tecla STOP.• Pulse la tecla PROGRAMA. Los títulos programado

son visualizados en orden correlativo. A continu-ación parpadea la primera posición de memo-ria PRG 01.

Reproducir pistas en orden aleatorio(RANDOM)• Pulse la tecla RANDOM.En el display aparece RDM.• Si se ha abierto la función RANDOM con la re-

producción detenida, pulse la tecla PLAY/PAUSEpara comenzar la reproducción.

Las pistas del CD se reproducirán en orden aleatorio.

Limpieza

• Limpie la carcasa única-mente con un paño lige-ramente humedecido enjabón suave. Procure quedurante la limpieza noentre ningún líquido ni hu-medad al aparato.

• Limpie el interior de la bandeja de disco –si esne-cesario– exclusivamente con un pincel limpioyseco (por ejemplo un pincel de limpiar objeti-vos,a la venta en establecimientos de fotografía).¡No limpie nunca en húmedo el interior de laban-deja del disco!

¡Advertencia!¡Si penetra humedad en el aparato, existe ries-go de una descarga eléctrica! Además el apa-rato podría sufrirdaños irreparables.

En caso de avería

• No intente desmontar el aparato ni reparar laavería usted mismo. Podría dañar las sensiblespiezas electrónicas del interior.

• ¡Las reparaciones deben ser realizadas exclusi-vamente por personal técnico cualificado!

• ¡No nos responsabilizamos de los daños deriva-dos del uso inapropiado y / o del desmontajeno autorizado en el aparato!

• En caso de avería, póngase en contacto con elservicio técnico de su país.

Eliminación

Eliminar el aparatoNo tire bajo ningún concepto el aparato a labasura doméstica normal. Elimine el aparatoa través de una instalación de eliminaciónautorizada o un centro de eliminación público.Este producto está sujeto a la directiva europea2002/96/CE.Observe las normas vigentes actuales. Si tuviera alguna duda, póngase en contactocon su centro de eliminación de residuos.

Eliminación de las pilasNo tire las pilas a la basura doméstica. Todo cons-umidor está obligado por la ley a llevar las pilas/ba-terías a un punto oficial de recogida de su munici-pio/su barrio o entregarlas en un establecimientocomercial.Esta obligación sirve para que las pilas sean elimina-das de forma respetuosa con el medio ambiente. Devuelva las pilas/baterías exclusivamente en esta-do descargado.

Eliminación del embalajeElimine todos los materiales de embalaje deforma respetuosa con el medio ambiente.

L'azienda non si assume alcuna responsa-bilità per i danni derivanti da un uso non conformealla norma dell'apparecchio!

Avvertenza sulla sospensione dellatensioneL'interruttore di funzione RADIO/OFF/CD di questoapparecchio non scollega completamente l'apparecchio dalla corrente elettrica. Messa in funzione

Installazione• Rimuovere il lettore CD con radio e i relativi

accessori dalla confezione.• Rimuovere tutti i materiali protettivi per il trasporto,

nastri adesivi e pellicole.

Attenzione: Non far giocare i bambini piccoli con la plasticada imballaggio. Sussiste il rischio di soffoca-mento!

• Collocare il lettore CD con radio su una superficiepiana e orizzontale. Posizionare il lettore CDcon radio in modo tale da consentire la completaapertura dello sportello del vano CD. La manigliaper il trasporto deve essere ribaltata indietro.

Inserimento delle pileSe si vuole fare funzionare il lettore CD con radiocon le pile, è necessario inserire prima 6 pile da1,5 V tipo D/LR20 nel vano pile (le pile non sonoincluse nella fornitura).• Aprire il vano pile sul lato inferiore dell'appa-

recchio.• Inserire le pile rispettando la giusta polarità,

così come indicata nel vano pile.• Richiudere con cautela il coperchio del vano

pile fino allo scatto.

Uso delle pileLe pile deteriorate con liquidi in fuoriuscita pos-sono causare danni al lettore CD con radio.

• Rimuovere le pile in caso di inutilizzo prolun-gato del lettore CD con radio.

• Sostituire sempre tutte le pile contemporanea-mente e utilizzare sempre pile dello stessotipo.

• In caso di fuoriuscita di acidi dalle pile,indossare guanti protettivi e ripulire il vanopile con un panno asciutto.

Connessione all'alimentazione di cor-rente• Inserire la spina del cavo di rete nel collegamento

del cavo di rete sul retro dell'apparecchio.• Collegare la spina del cavo di rete ad una presa

di rete.Il lettore CD con radio riconosce automaticamente il collegamento del cavo di rete alla rete elettrica e commuta automaticamente su funzionamento inrete.

Impiego

Accensione/spegnimento dell'appa-recchio, selezione sorgente sonoraSi può accendere l'apparecchio selezionando unasorgente sonora mediante l'interruttore di funzione:• CD• RADIO1.Spostare l'interruttore di funzione nella posizione

della sorgente sonora desiderata.2.Per spegnere di nuovo l'apparecchio, spostare

l'interruttore di funzione in posizione “OFF“.

Impostazione del volumeIl volume si può regolare con l'apposita manopola.• Per aumentare il volume, ruotare la manopola

di regolazione del volume in senso orario.• Per diminuire il volume, ruotare la manopola

di regolazione del volume in senso antiorario.

Uso della cuffiaÈ possibile collegare al lettore CD con radio unacuffia con spinotto jack stereo da 3,5 mm. L'ingressoper la cuffia si trova sul retro del lettore CD con radio.Una volta collegata la cuffia, gli altoparlanti verrannodisattivati e il suono si udrà solo attraverso la cuffia. • Inserire lo spinotto jack della cuffia nell'apposito

ingresso.

Attenzione:

L'ascolto di musica con le cuffie per perioditroppo lunghi o ad alto volume può cau-sare danni all'udito!

Funzioni radio

1. Raddrizzare l'antenna telescopica ed estrarla.Orientare l'antenna telescopica in modo tale da ottenere una ricezione ottimale.

Per la ricezione delle emittenti a onde medie (AM)è stata incorporata un'antenna di ricezione. Ruotaretutto l'apparecchio acceso in modalità radio fino aottenere la ricezione ottimale. 2. Impostare la gamma di frequenze (AM/FM/FM ST.)

con il selettore di banda. In modalità FM ST. l'emit-tente radiofonica viene riprodotta in stereofonia.Se la ricezione del programma radiofonico instereofonia avviene con segnale forte, si accendel'indicatore FM Stereo.

Avvertenza: Se nella gamma di ricezione FM ST. il segnalestereo è troppo debole, è possibile migliorarela ricezione selezionando l'impostazione FM.Con questa impostazione il suono viene ripro-dotto in modalità mono.

3. Tramite la manopola di sintonizzazione impostarel'emittente radiofonica desiderata.

Funzioni CD

Inserimento del CD• Con l'interruttore di funzione selezionare la fun-

zione CD.• Piegare indietro la maniglia per il trasporto.• Per aprire il vano CD, premere verso il basso lo

sportello nel punto contrassegnato daOPEN/CLOSE, quindi lasciarlo andare.

Il coperchio del vano CD si aprirà verso l'alto.• Inserire il CD con il lato stampato rivolto verso

l'alto al centro del vano CD. Accertarsi che il CDsi trovi con il foro al centro del cono del piattogirevole.


• Per chiudere il vano CD, premere verso il bassofino all'arresto lo sportello nel punto contrasse-gnato da OPEN/CLOSE.

Nel display, dopo un breve lampeggiare del simbolo“--“ verrà indicato il numero dei brani del CD.

Estrazione del CD• Premere il tasto STOP e attendere finché il CD non

gira più.

Il CD non deve più girare al momentodell'apertura del vano CD. In caso con-trario potrebbe subire un danno irrepara-bile.

• Per aprire il vano CD, premere verso il basso lo sportello nel punto contrassegnato da OPEN/CLOSE, quindi lasciarlo andare.

• Prelevare il CD.

Avvio della riproduzione• Premere il tasto PLAY/PAUSE.Nel display viene visualizzato “PLAY“ e viene ripro-dotto il primo brano.

Arresto della riproduzione • Premere il tasto STOP.

Interruzione/proseguimento della riproduzione • Durante la riproduzione premere il tasto PLAY/

PAUSE.Nel display lampeggia “PLAY“.• Per proseguire la riproduzione, premere di nuovo

il tasto PLAY/PAUSE .

Passare a un brano seguente o prece-dente• Per riprodurre uno dei brani successivi di un CD,

premere il tasto NEXT durante la riproduzione finchéviene visualizzato il numero del brano richiesto.

• Per riprodurre uno dei brani precedenti di un CD,premere il tasto BACK durante la riproduzione finché viene visualizzato il numero del brano richiesto.

Riavvolgimento e avanzamento delbrano• Durante la riproduzione programmata premere

il tasto NEXT o il tasto BACK.• Tenerli premuti fino a raggiungere la posizione

desiderata nel brano.

Funzione di ripetizione (REPEAT)Con la funzione di ripetizione si possono riprodurrei singoli brani di un CD o tutti i brani di un CD.• Per ripetere singoli brani, premere il tasto REPEAT.Nel display lampeggia RPT.• Per ripetere tutti i brani di un CD, premere due

volte il tasto REPEAT.Sul display è visualizzato RPT.• Per terminare la ripetizione, premere il tasto

REPEAT fino alla scomparsa del messaggio RPT.

Programmazione della sequenza deibraniÈ possibile programmare una sequenza di riprodu-zione con un massimo di 20 brani, sequenza nellaquale vengono riprodotti i brani di un CD. Ciò èpossibile solo a riproduzione ferma.• Premere il tasto PROGRAM.Sul display lampeggia il messaggio PRG01 per laposizione di programma il cui brano viene riprodottoper primo.• Selezionare con i tasti NEXT e BACK il brano des-

iderato per la posizione di programma.• Premere il tasto PROGRAM per memorizzare l'im-

postazione.Sul display lampeggia il messaggio PRG02 per laposizione di programma 2.• Per programmare ulteriori brani, ripetere i pas-

saggi precedentemente descritti.Se tutte le 20 posizioni di programma sono occupate,sul display vengono visualizzati in successione i numeri dei brani. Quindi sul display lampeggia “01“.• Avviare la riproduzione programmata premendo

il tasto PLAY/PAUSE.

La sequenza di brani programmata vienecancellata se...- Durante la riproduzione si preme due volte il

tasto STOP. Il messaggio PRG scompare.- Si apre il vano CD.- Si spegne e si accende di nuovo l'apparecchio.

Interrogazione della sequenza di brani programmati• Durante la riproduzione programmata premere

il tasto STOP.• Premere il tasto PROGRAM. I brani programmati

vengono visualizzati in successione. In seguitolampeggia l'indicatore della prima posizione di programma PRG 01.

Riproduzione dei titoli in sequenza casuale (funzione RANDOM)• Premere il tasto RANDOM.Sul display è visualizzato RDM.• Nel caso in cui sia stata richiamata la funzione

RANDOM quando la riproduzione è bloccata,premere il tasto PLAY/PAUSE per avviare la ripro-duzione.

I brani del CD vengono così riprodotti in sequenzacasuale.• Per terminare la funzione RANDOM, premere

di nuovo il tasto RANDOM.Il messaggio RDM scompare e la riproduzione pro-segue nella sequenza abituale.

Pulizia

• Pulire l'alloggiamento solo con un panno legger-mente umido e un detergente delicato. Impedirela penetrazione di umidità nell'apparecchiodurante la pulizia!

• Pulire l'interno dello scomparto del disco, senecessario, solo con un pennello pulito e asciutto(ad es. pennelli per obiettivi, disponibili pressoi negozi specializzati di fotografia). Non puliremai l'interno dello scomparto del disco con og-getti umidi!

Attenzione!

L'infiltrazione di umidità nella radio da cucinacomporta il pericolo di scarica elettrica! L'ap-parecchio può subire danni irreparabili!

In caso di guasto

• Non cercare di smontare l'apparecchio o di ri-pararlo autonomamente in caso di eventuali a-nomalie di funzionamento. Si potrebbero danneg-giare i componenti elettronici sensibili.

• Le riparazioni all'apparecchio devono essere ef-fettuate esclusivamente da personale qualificatoaddetto al servizio assistenza!

• Per i danni risultanti da uso non conforme del-l'apparecchio non ci si assume alcuna garanzia!

Thunder storms!Devices connected to mains power can be damaged during a thunder storm. If there is athunder storm, always remove the mains plugfrom the socket.

Information on voltage surges(EFT/electrical fast transient) and electrostatic discharges:If the product does not work properly due to electrical fast transient processes (voltagesurges) or electrostatic discharge, it must be reset to restore normal operation. If necessary,remove the plug from the power socket and insert it again. The batteries (if used) must beremoved and reinserted.

Note: Take note that the rubber feet of the appliancecould leave traces on painted, sensitive or trea-ted surfaces. If possible, place an anti-slip ma-terial under the feet of the appliance.

Before first use

Setup• Remove the CD-Player with Radio and the acces-

sories from the trans-port packaging.• Remove all transport fixing items and adhesive

tape/films.

Important: Do not permit small children to play with theplastic packaging. There is a risk of them suffo-cating!

• Place the CD-Player with Radio on a level hori-zontal surface. Place the CD-Player with Radioso, that the flap of the CD compartment can be

completely opened. For this, the carrying handlemust be folded back.

Inserting BatteriesIf you wish to operate the CD Player with Radio bybattery power, you must first insert 6 x 1,5 V batte-ries of the type D/LR20 into the battery compart-ment (batteries are not supplied).• Open the battery compartment on the appliance

under side.• Insert the batteries into the battery compartment,

taking note of the outlined polarities in the bat-tery compartment.

• Carefully close the battery compartment lid untilit clicks into place.

Interaction with batteriesLeaking batteries can cause damage to theCD-Player with Radio.

• If you do not intend to use the CD-Playerwith Radio for an extended period, removethe batteries.

• Always exchange the batteries in a timelymanner and use batteries of the same type.

• Should the batteries leak, wear protectivegloves and clean the battery compartmentwith a dry cloth.

Providing mains power• Insert the connector of the power cable into the

power cable plug at the rear of the appliance.• Insert the plug of the power cable into a wall po-

wer socket.The CD Player with Radio automatically recogniseswhen the power cable is connected to a mains po-wer socket and switches itself into mains power ope-ration.

Radio functions

1. Raise the telescopic antenna and extend it to fulllength. Adjust the antenna positioning so that ra-dio reception is optimal.

For receiving MW (AM) transmissions, there is aninbuilt reception antenna. In radio operation, turnthe whole appliance to a position where the best ra-dio reception is obtained.2. Adjust the receptionrange (AM/FM/FM ST.) with

the waveband selector. With the adjustment FM ST radio programmes transmitted in stereo willbe played back in stereo. Should the program-me be received in stereo at full strength the FMstereo display lights up.

Notice: Should the stereo signal in the reception rangeFM ST be too weak, you can improve it in thatyou select the adjustment FM. In this adjustmentthe sound is played in Mono.

3. Through turning the tuning regulator, the desiredradio station can be selected.

Usage

Switching the appliance on/off andsound source selectionThe appliance is switched on by you selecting asound source with the function switch:• CD• Radio1.Slide the function switch to the position of your

desired sound source.2.To switch the appliance off, slide the function

switch to the position "OFF".

Adjusting the volume.You can adjust the sound volume with the volume re-gulator.• To increase the sound volume turn the volume re-

gulator clockwise.• To reduce the sound volume turn the volume re-

gulator anti-clockwise.

Using headphonesYou can connect headphones to the CD-Player withRadio with a 3,5 mm Stereo jackplug. The head-phone connector is to be found at the rear of theCD-Player with Radio. When you have connectedthe headphones, the loudspeakers are disconnectedand you will only hear sound via the headphones. • Insert the headphone jackplug into the headpho-

ne connection.

Attention! Before putting on a set of headphonesturn the volume level down to the mini-mum! Your hearing could be damaged ifit is subjected to high volume levels for toolong or suddenly!


CD Functions

Inserting a CD• Select the CD function with the function switch.• Fold the carrying handle back.• To open the CD compartment, press down the

flap at the position marked with OPEN/CLOSE andthen release it.

The flap of the CD compartment opens upwards.• Insert the CD, with the printed side upwards, in

the middle of the CD compartment. Thereby, en-sure that the CD lies with its hole in the middle ofthe cone of the turntable.

• To close the CD compartment, press down theflap at the position marked OPEN/CLOSE until it en-gages.

On the display after a short blinking of „--“ the num-ber of titles on the CD is shown.

Removing the CD• Press the button STOP and wait until the CD is no

longer spinning.

The CD may no longer be spinning whenyou open the CD compartment. It could beirreparably damaged.

• To open the CD compartment, press the flap atOPEN/CLOSE.

• Remove the CD.

Starting playback• Press the button PLAY/PAUSE.In the display „PLAY“ is shown and the first title isplayed.

Stopping playback • Press the button STOP.

Interrupting/continuing playback • During playback press the button PLAY/PAUSE.In the display the word „PLAY“ flashes.• To continue playback, press the button PLAY/PAU-

SE once more.

Next/previous title• To playback one of the forthcoming titles on a

CD, during playback press the button NEXT repe-atedly, until the number of the desired title appe-ars in the display.

• To playback one of the previous titles, duringplayback press the button BACK repeatedly, untilthe number of the desired tile appears in the dis-play.

Title fast forward/reverse• During playback press the button NEXT or the but-

ton BACK.• Keep the button pressed until the desired point in

the title has been reached.

Repeat function (REPEAT)With the repeat function you can repeatedly play-back indivdual titles of a CD or all of them.• To repeat individual titles, press the button REPEAT. Blinking on the display is RPT.• To repeat all titles on a CD, press the button REPE-

AT twice.Shown on the display is RPT .• To finish the repetitions press the button REPEAT re-

peatedly until the RPT extinguishes.

Programme playing orderYou can programme in a playback sequence for upto 20 titles, in which the individual titles of a CD areplayed back. This is only possible when the playfunction has been stopped.• Press the button PROGRAM.The indicator PRG01 blinks in the display for pro-gramme position 1, the title which is to be playedfirst in the playback sequence.• With the buttons NEXT and BACK select the desired

title for programme position 1.

• To save the programming, press the button PROGRAM.The indicator PRG02 blinks in the display for pro-gramme position 2.• To programme further titles repeat the above de-

tailed steps.When all 20 programme positions are allocated,the title numbers are shown one after the other inthe display.Afterwards „01“ blinks.• Start the programme playback by pressing the

button PLAY/PAUSE.

The programmed title sequence is erasedwhen...- You press twice on the button STOP during play-back. The indicator PRG extinguishes.- You open the CD compartment.- The appliance is switched off and then back on.

Query programmed playing order• During the programme playback press the but-

ton STOP.• Press the button PROGRAM. The programmed titles

are shown one after the other. Afterwards, thedisplay blinks the first programme position PRG01.

Play titles in random order (RANDOM)• Press the button RANDOM.In the display RDM is indicated.• If you have called-up the RANDOM function du-

ring a stopped playback, press if need be thebutton PLAY/PAUSE, to restart the playback.

The titles on the CD will be played in random order.

Cleaning

• Clean the housing of the appliance only with aslightly moist cloth and a mild detergent. Ensurethat moisture cannot permeate into the applianceduring cleaning!

• If necessary, clean the inside of the disc trayexclusively with a clean dry brush (i.e. a lensbrush, obtainable from a photographic dealer).NEVER use moisture to clean the inside of theCD compartment!

Warning!Moisture penetrating into the appliance crea-tes the risk of electric shock! Additionally, theappliance could be irreparably damaged!

Troubleshooting

• Do not attempt to dismantle the appliance your-self or to repair it in the event of a possible de-fect. If you do, you could possibly damage thesensitive electronic components.

• Repairs to your appliance may only be carriedout by qualified service personnel!

• No liability will be accepted for damage resul-ting from improper usage and/or the dismantlingof the appliance!

Aufstellen• Entnehmen Sie den CD-Player mit Radio und das

Zubehör aus der Verpackung.• Entfernen Sie alle Transportsicherungen und Kle-

bebänder/-Folien.

Achtung: Lassen Sie kleine Kinder nicht mit Folien spielen.Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!

• Stellen Sie den CD-Player mit Radio auf eineebene, waagerechte Fläche auf. Stellen Sie denCD-Player mit Radio so auf, dass sich die Klappedes CD-Fachs vollständig öffnen kann. Dazumuss der Tragegriff nach hinten geklappt sein.

Batterien einlegenWenn Sie den CD-Player mit Radio mit Batterien be-treiben wollen, müssen Sie zunächst 6 Batterien 1,5V Typ D/LR20 Monozelle in das Batteriefach einle-gen (Batterien sind nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten).• Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Geräteunter-

seite.• Legen Sie die Batterien unter Beachtung der im

Batteriefach abgebildeten Polarität in das Batte-riefach ein.

• Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel wiedersorgfältig, bis der Deckel einrastet.

Umgang mit BatterienAuslaufende Batterien können Beschädigungenan dem CD-Player mit Radio verursachen.

• Wenn Sie den CD-Player mit Radio längere Zeitnicht benutzen, entnehmen Sie die Batterien.

• Tauschen Sie immer alle Batterien gleichzei-tig aus und verwenden Sie Batterien desgleichen Typs.

• Bei ausgelaufenen Batterien, ziehen SieSchutzhandschuhe an und reinigen Sie dasBatteriefach mit einem trockenen Tuch.

Stromversorgung herstellen• Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzkabels in den

Netzkabelanschluss auf der Geräterückseite.• Schließen Sie den Netzstecker des Netzkabels

an eine Netzsteckdose an.Der CD-Player mit Radio erkennt automatisch, wenndas Netzkabel an das Stromnetz angeschlossen istund schaltet automatisch auf Netzbetrieb um.

Gebrauch

Lautstärkeregler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.

Kopfhörer verwendenSie können an dem CD-Player mit Radio einen Kopf-hörer mit 3,5 mm-Stereo-Klinkenstecker anschließen.Der Kopf-höreranschluss befindet sich an der Rück-seite des CD-Players mit Radio. Wenn Sie den Kopf-hörer angeschlossen haben, werden die Lautspre-cher abgeschaltet und Sie hören den Ton nur nochüber den Kopfhörer. • Stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker des Kopfhörers in

den Kopfhöreranschluss.

Achtung:

Das Musikhören mit Kopfhörern über ei-nen längeren Zeitraum und mit voller Laut-stärke kann zu Gehörschäden führen!

Radio-Funktionen

1. Richten Sie die Teleskopantenne auf und ziehenSie sie auseinander. Richten Sie die Teleskopan-tenne so aus, dass der Empfang optimal ist.

Für den Empfang von MW (AM) Sendern ist eineEmpfangsantenne fest eingebaut. Drehen Sie im Ra-diobetrieb das gesamte Gerät so weit, bis der Emp-fang am besten ist. 2. Stellen Sie den Empfangsbereich (AM/FM/FM ST.)

mit dem Bandwahlschalter ein. Bei der EinstellungFM ST. wird das in Stereo ausgestrahlte Radiopro-gramm in Stereo wiedergegeben. Wird das Ra-dioprogramm mit voller Signalstärke in Stereoempfangen, leuchtet die FM Stereo Anzeige.

Hinweis: Sollte im Empfangsbereich FM ST. das Stereosig-nal zu schwach sein, können Sie den Empfangu. U. verbessern, indem Sie die Einstellung FMwählen. In dieser Einstellung wird der Ton inMono wiedergegeben.

3. Stellen Sie durch Drehen des Tuningreglers, dengewünschten Radiosender ein.


CD-Funktionen

CD einlegen• Wählen Sie mit dem Funktionsschalter die CD-

Funktion an.• Klappen Sie den Tragegriff nach hinten.• Um das CD-Fach zu öffnen, drücken Sie die

Klappe an der mit OPEN/CLOSE markierten Stellenach unten und lassen Sie dann los.

Die Klappe des CD-Fachs wird nach oben aufge-klappt.• Legen Sie die CD mit der bedruckten Seite nach

oben mittig in das CD-Fach. Achten Sie dabeidarauf, dass die CD mit dem Loch mittig auf demKonus des Drehtellers liegt.

• Um das CD-Fach zu schließen, drücken Sie dieKlappe an der mit OPEN/CLOSE markierten Stellenach unten, bis sie einrastet.

Im Display wird nach kurzem Blinken von „--“ dieAnzahl der Titel der CD angezeigt.

CD herausnehmen• Drücken Sie die Taste STOP und warten Sie ab,

bis sich die CD nicht mehr dreht.

Die CD darf sich nicht mehr drehen, wennSie das CD-Fach öffnen. Sie kann anson-sten irreparabel beschädigt werden.

• Um das CD-Fach zu öffnen, drücken Sie dieKlappe an der mit OPEN/CLOSE markierten Stellenach unten und lassen Sie dann los.

• Entnehmen Sie die CD.

Wiedergabe starten• Drücken Sie die Taste PLAY/PAUSE.Im Display wird „PLAY“ angezeigt und der erste Ti-tel wird abgespielt.

Wiedergabe stoppen • Drücken Sie die Taste STOP.

Wiedergabe unterbrechen/fortsetzen • Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe die Taste

PLAY/PAUSE.Im Display blinkt die Anzeige „PLAY“.• Um die Wiedergabe fortzusetzen, drücken Sie

die Taste PLAY/PAUSE erneut.

Titel vor und zurück• Um einen der nächsten Titel einer CD wiederzu-

geben, drücken Sie während der Wiedergabeso oft die Taste NEXT, bis die Nummer des ge-wünschten Titels angezeigt wird.

• Um einen vorherigen Titel einer CD wiederzuge-ben, drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe sooft die Taste BACK, bis die Nummer des ge-wünschten Titels angezeigt wird. Bei einmaligemDrücken der Taste BACK beginnt der aktuelle Titelvon vorn.

Titel Vor- und Rücklauf• Drücken Sie während der Wiedergabe die Taste

NEXT bzw. die Taste BACK.• Halten Sie diese solange gedrückt, bis die ge-

wünschte Stelle im Titel erreicht wurde.

Wiederhol-Funktion (REPEAT)Mit der Wiederholfunktion können Sie einzelne Titeleiner CD oder die gesamten Titel einer CD wieder-holt abspielen.• Um einzelne Titel zu wiederholen, drücken Sie

die Taste REPEAT.Im Display blinkt RPT.• Um alle Titel einer CD zu wiederholen, drücken

Sie zweimal die Taste REPEAT.Im Display wird RPT angezeigt.• Um das Wiederholen zu beenden, drücken Sie die

Taste REPEAT so oft, bis die Anzeige RPT erlischt.

Titelfolge programmierenSie können eine Abspielreihenfolge für bis zu 20 Ti-tel programmieren, in der die Titel einer CD wieder-gegeben werden. Dies ist nur möglich, wenn dieWiedergabe gestoppt ist.• Drücken Sie die Taste PROGRAM.

Im Display blinkt die Anzeige PRG01 für den Pro-grammplatz, dessen Titel bei der Wiedergabe zu-erst abgespielt werden soll.• Wählen Sie mit den Tasten NEXT und BACK den ge-

wünschten Titel für den Programmplatz aus.• Um die Einstellung zu speichern, drücken Sie die

Taste PROGRAM.Im Display blinkt die Anzeige PRG02 für den Pro-grammplatz 2.• Um weitere Titel zu programmieren, wiederholen

Sie die vorhergehenden Handlungsschritte.Sind alle 20 Programmplätze belegt, werden die Ti-telnummern nacheinander im Display angezeigt. Anschließend blinkt im Display „01“.• Starten Sie die programmierte Wiedergabe

durch Drücken der Taste PLAY/PAUSE.

Die programmierte Titelfolge wird gelöscht,wenn...- Sie während der Wiedergabe zweimal die Taste

STOP drücken. Die Anzeige PRG erlischt.- Sie das CD-Fach öffnen.- Das Gerät aus- und wieder eingeschaltet wird.

Programmierte Titelfolge abfragen• Drücken Sie während der programmierten

Wiedergabe die Taste STOP.• Drücken Sie die Taste PROGRAM. Die programmierten

Titel werden nacheinander angezeigt. Danach blinktdie Anzeige des ersten Programmplatzes PRG 01.

Titel in zufälliger Reihenfolge abspielen(RANDOM-Funktion)• Drücken Sie die Taste RANDOM.Im Display wird RDM angezeigt.• Wenn Sie die RANDOM-Funktion bei gestoppter

Wiedergabe aufgerufen haben, drücken Sie ggf.die Taste PLAY/PAUSE, um die Wiedergabe zu starten.

Die Titel der CD werden nun in zufälliger Reihenfol-ge abgespielt.• Um die RANDOM-Funktion zu beenden, drü-

cken Sie erneut die Taste RANDOM.Die Anzeige RDM erlischt und die Wiedergabewird in gewohnter Reihenfolge fortgesetzt.

Reinigung

• Reinigen Sie das Gehäuse ausschließlich mit ei-nem leicht feuchten Tuch und einem mildenSpülmittel. Achten Sie darauf, dass bei der Rei-nigung keine Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät gelangt!

• Säubern Sie das Innere des Disk-Fachs – fallsnötig – ausschließlich mit einem sauberen tro-ckenen Pinsel (z. B. Objektiv-Pinsel, erhältlichim Foto-Fachhandel). Säubern Sie das Inneredes Disk-Fachs niemals feucht!

Warnung!

Dringt Feuchtigkeit in das Gerät ein, bestehtdie Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages! Außer-dem kann das Gerät dabei irreparabel be-schädigt werden!

Im Fehlerfall

• Versuchen Sie nicht, das Gerät auseinander zunehmen bzw. bei eventuellen Defekten selbst zureparieren. Sie könnten sonst die empfindlichenelektronischen Bauteile beschädigen.
