BATTERY

The LUCE-1TL thinline emergency ballast produces an initial 500 lumens during emergency operation. Designed to operate a single (1) lamp for a period no less then 90 minutes. Lumen output is less when using a compact �uorescent lamp.

EMERGENCY ILLUMINATION

The LUCE-1TL thinline emergency ballast does not e�ect the normal operation of a luminaire. Designed to be used with either switched or unswitched luminaires. If a switched luminaire is used, an unswitched hot lead must be connected to the LUCE-1TL. The LUCE-1TL must be fed from the same branch circuit as the AC ballast. The LUCE-1TL may be installed inside, on top or remote of the luminaire. Installation is not recommended with luminaires where the ambient temperature may fall below 0C for extended periods.

INSTALLATION

The LUCE-1TL thinline emergency ballast has been tested by Underwriters Laboratories in accordance with the standards set forth in UL 924, “Emergency Lighting and Power Equipment,” and is UL Listed for factory or �eld installation. Emergency illumination time exceeds the National Electrical Code (NEC), Life Safety Code (NFPA–LSC) and UL 90-minute requirements.
