ASSEMBLY WELDING

In this first section, we show our knowledge about assembly drawings, where we find the gene-ral sizes of the product and sometimes an explo-de view where is indicated all the pieces that form the general pro-duct.

In the second section, we show different techniques of welding of parts.

In this last section are presen-ted the knowledge learnt about the tolerances of levels, the Metric holes and the tole-rances between axis and holes.

In this section are shown the knowledge learnt about the surface finishings that some pieces receive.

3DARMY KNIFE

This project was about disassembling an army knife and the, after measuring all the parts, create a copy in 3D.

MAXIMUM TRACTION MAXIMUM SHEAR

Here we find a recompilation of different projects where we made a 3D design of the product.

In this section, we can see a simulation of the mechanical stress that the products suffer.

MATERIALS

This project took a whole trimester to complete. It consists on taking advantage of a previous re-search project about dust in another subject in order to develop a product that covers certain functional requirements.

The final product needed to be easily recyclable and manufactured through an environmentally friendly production process.

FORCETEST

TRACTION

This is a study about the elastic limit with different materials samples, both plastic and metallic. The outcome of the study is a graph that lets us know which material is the one that bears more traction before breaking.

The force that a clamp pres-sure could support in the union points between the di-fferent pieces and in the rivets was analysed in this project.

Afterwards, some graphs were drawn for axial and shear forces and bending moment.

PEN

This project is made in the subject of “Expressió Artística” and consisted in making renders of a pen (pictures on the right) and afterwards creating a panel where we were able to see the product (picture on the left). On the panel, there should be the brand of the pen, a variation of the initial model, the general sizes, and finally, a general render where we could see the product.

The teachers selected this project as one of the best and it was exposed in the Agora room. (ELISAVA exposition room).

BUILDINGRENDERS

In this part it can be seen a small sample of renders that have been done during the whole degree. In some cases, there is a retouching process in order to give the product the best finish possible.

This project was based on constructing an emblem building from a mathe-matic program (Mathcad) and to construct all different parts from the matrix graphs and mathematical functions.
