How To Use Your George Foreman® Grill1. Beforeusingthegrillforthefirsttime,wipethegrillplatesandbakingpan
withadampclothtoremovealldust.2. Attach the Plates or Baking Pan:Thegrillhas5heatingplates—1grillplate,1
steakplate,2waffleplates,1bakingpan.Securelyattachtheplatesinthetopandbottomoftheapplianceusingthereleasehandlesoneachsideoftheplatesandpan.Thebakingpanshouldonlybeattachedtothebottomoftheappliance.Usethelockleverineithertheback,lockedpositionorfront,lockedposition.Theback,lockedpositionisforlevelcookingoffoods.Thefront,lockedpositionisforslopedcooking.Liquidwilldrainintothedriptraywheninthefront,lockedposition.
Note: When attaching the plates or baking pan, carefully and securely attach each into the appliance using the release handles on the plates or pan.

To Preheat:Closethelidandplugthecordintooutlet.TurntheadjustabletemperaturecontrolfromOff(0)toBAJA(Low),MEDIA(Medium)orALTA(High)temperatureasdesired.Thepowerlight(red)andindicatorlight(green)willturnon.SeetheSuggested Cooking Chartforspecifictemperaturesettings.Whentheapplianceispreheated,theindicatorlight(green)willgooff.
Note: When the correct temperature is reached for preheating, the power light will be on although the iindicator light will turn off.
4. Useapotholdertocarefullyopenthelid.5. Slidethegrease-catchingdriptrayunderthefrontoftheunit.6. Carefullyplaceorpourthefoodtobecookedonthebottomplateorpan.7. Closethelidandallowthefoodtocookforthedesiredtime.Do not leave the
unit unattended during use!Reminder: The heat continues to be on until the appliance is turned to the off position.
8. Afterthedesiredamountofcookingtime,thefoodshouldbedone.9. Turntheadjustabletemperaturecontroltotheoffposition.Disconnectthe
