Hello!I’m Lluís Maronda I’m working in a hostal its name is Walker
Inn.
My work
• My job is to manage the inn. To prepare: dinner, rooms and stables for make traveler’s time as comfortable as possible.
We use...• In the kitchen we
use spoons, bowls, forks made of wooden and brass pots.
• In the stable we use wooden pitchforks and shovels to feed the animals.
My day
• I wake up before the sun come out. To light the fire and prepare porridge before awakening the passengers when the sun rises.
The money- Almost money that
I earn are for the castle lord. As advantage I can drink and eat all I want.
Normally we change thinks and don’t use money to do bussines.
Our food• In our time food is
very simple. It basically consists of flour of wheat or barley, some vegetables that are boiled with water and very occasionally we eat poultry meat.
The inn• The inn is an enclosed
courtyard with a central location where there is a well. There is also a stable and two large halls. In one room there is the kitchen and dining room and in the other room there is a place to sleep. In addition there are three rooms if you get some important travelers.
Work there ... • There are two
cooks, two boys cleaned the stable, my wife and me. All works for the lord of Miravet Castle, which owns the inn and all places around the castle.
Working hours
• My work time is from sunrise to sunset and a little more. We eat three times a day or more. Other people in this age only eat one or two times at day.
Our tools• The useful kitchen
tools are made by ourselft and a little part get from merchants through the inn often in exchange for food and stay.
My principles• I started work eight
years as assistant to the block for fifteen years I began to cook and now I am the one who has more power. I'll die working here.
I like my job
• I always say that I am very lucky to have this work and not work in the field becouse it is double or triple tired .
