Mental Malfunction:Alan is (still) an American soldier at heart, but troubled by the commotion Novas brought.

Weakness:Negating weakness (needs to be one

hour a day in a totally dark room)

Background:Alan was a US soldier in Iraq, when he and his squad were captured. Being locked in a dark cave for months,

until finally rescued, made him develop a severe case of nyctophoby (fear of the dark).

When returned, ashamed and half crazy, he was discharged from the army and entered counseling.

Years later, after much psychological work, Alan was finally ready to face his fear, and sleep in a totally dark

room.

Then the Event happened, and somehow the darkness seeped into Alan, and he became one with the

shadows.

Through Nova.net, with the nickname Nycto he found others like him. But as he though himself the same

person, some others had delusions of grandeur

About Alan:

Alan Parsons is a nondescript average

sized person, with dark brown eyes and

close cropped (near military style) hair. He

has 25 years, and remains athletic.

He gains a small retirement pension (from

the army), but, nonetheless he loves his

country and what it stands for, in the

world. Deep inside he knows the "sin" he

made and the effects it could had in the

rest of his mates.

In meeting Mama B. he hopes to find

others, and have the opportunity to be in

a team again, and not fail them this time.
