Introduction

As I am planning to have mostly pictures of female artists in mymagazine and front cover I need to know what type of clothes,make-up and jewellery female artist wear. From this research Ican then find similar mise-en-scene to us on my models.

Earrings

Most female R&B and HipHop artists wear big shiny earrings which stands out. This images that I have got from the internet is a template of the type I want to use on my model to make them look like a artist

Bracelets/Bangles

Most artists wear big bangles. They mostly wear what ordinary people wear. They go for the casual but stylish look.They wear mostly shiny jewellery which stands out but they also wear minimum amount of jewellery like earrings, a bracelet and one ring.

Rings

As I mentioned before they wear mostly what ordinary people wear and this goes with rings.The latest fashion for rings is big shiny rings, which means that artists wear similar rings. I will make my model wear big and shiny rings to make them look like artists.

necklaces

They don’t usually wear necklaces but when they do they wear pendents like the one in this slideshow. These are really bling bling which is what R&B artists wears. If I planned to make my model wear a necklace it would be similar to these.

Make-up

The make-up depends on where the artists are going but most of the time the artists go for the natural look. They mostly put a lot of lip gloss and a lot of eye-liner. But they don’t put a lot of eye shadow or use bright colours. They mostly go for the natural look which is what I am planning to do for my models.
