1 OBJETIVO

Diseñar los elementos del sistema estructural de resistencia sísmica (SERS), cubierta para la construcción de obra nuevade la cubierta de la piscina del conjunto Torres del diamante, la cual constará pórticos en acero y vigas en celosia tubular,cubierta liviana.

Desde el punto de vista sismo resistente, en particular se tendrán en cuenta las disposiciones de la (NSR-10) Teniendoen cuenta que ésta se basan en la premisa básica de lograr una resistencia de la estructura que permita la evacuación deésta sin la pérdida de vidas humanas.

2 ALCANCE

Se realizó el análisis de la edificación de acuerdo a las necesidades del cliente, y lo dispuesto en la NSR-10 lo cual nospermite garantizar que la estructura no tendrá sobre esfuerzos y no habrá flexibilidad ni deflexiones excesivas en laestructura.

3 INFORMACIÓN INICIAL

La información documentada existente correspondiente a la edificación en estudio es la siguiente

Para desarrollar el diseño estructural se construyó el modelo utilizando el procesador de análisis y post procesador paradiseño: Staad Pro V8i

4.1 DESCRIPCIÓN DEL MODELO ESTRUCTURAL

El sistema estructural de resistencia sísmica está definido por pórticos de acero resistente a momentos con capacidadmoderada de disipación de energía (DMO).

Tal como se observa en la figuras, el modelo de la estructura de la edificación está compuesto por columnas metalicas, yla respectiva viga en celosia.

4.2 SISTEMA DE RESISTENCIA SÍSMICA (SRS)

El A.3.2 de la NSR-10 exige que las edificaciones sean clasificadas dentro uno de los sistemas estructurales definidos allí,considerando lo anterior tenemos lo siguiente:

Se definió para la estructura un sistema estructural de pórtico resistente a momento en estructura metalica con capacidadmoderada de disipación de energía (DMO) que se enmarca en los lineamientos de A.3.3.2, numeral () de la NSR-10; enel cual las cargas verticales y horizontales son resistidas por pórticos resistente a momentos esencialmente completos,combinados con muros estructurales, y que no cumple los requisitos de un sistema dual.

4.2.2 Secciones de los elementos del modelo

La modelación de la estructura se hizo teniendo en cuenta los parámetros establecidos y atendiendo a todas lasdisposiciones contempladas en la NSR-10 y al anexo del decreto 92 de enero 17 de 2011 . A continuación se describirá lageometría del modelo analizado:

El modelo del edificio esta compuesto vigas en celosía soporte de cubierta de cubierta. Se modeló la composición deelementos: vigas y columnas. Se hace la la distribución de cargas por cargas aferentes de acuerdo al avaluo de cargascorrespondiente a la que soportara la estructura.

 A continuación se presenta la geometría básica y la asignación de secciones utilizadas en el modelo para el análisis de laestructura.

5 CARGAS

5.1 CARGA MUERTA

El procesador de análisis de la estructura cuantifica la carga muerta producida por los elementos que la conforman,

(columnas y vigas) dependiendo de la geometría y peso unitario de los materiales que la conforman. La cargasobreimpuesta o carga adicional (Cubierta) serán suministradas específicamente al modelo mediante la asignación decarga uniformemente distribuida a los elementos.

 A continuación se presenta la evaluación de la carga sobre-impuesta que actúa sobre los diferentes espacios de estructuray las cuales son introducidas al modelo.

5.2 CARGA VIVA

Teniendo en cuenta la consideración que se establecen B.4.2.1, acerca de la carga viva que se debe asignar a la cubierta,se optó por diseñar con una carga viva igual 0.5 kN/m 2 .

5.3 CARGA DE GRANIZOSe asumió una carga de Granizo de 1.00 kN/m2.

5.4 CARGA DE VIENTO

Teniendo en cuenta la consideración que se establece en B.6.1.3, acerca de la carga minima de viento que se debe asignara la cubierta, se optó por diseñar con una carga de viento en succion igual 0.4 kN/m 2 .

Como método de análisis del sistema de resistencia sísmica para efectos de evaluación de las edificaciones se justificasegún los literales b y d de A.3.4.2.1 el uso del método de la fuerza horizontal equivalente basado en la suposición deque la estructura sufrirá varios ciclos de deformación inelástica y disipación de energía sin llegar a colapsar, el cálculo delas fuerzas y desplazamientos en la estructura se calculan asumiendo un comportamiento linealmente elástico de lamisma.

5.7 COMBINACIONES DE CARGA

 A continuación se listan las combinaciones de cargas que fueron utilizadas para el diseño de la estructura, teniendo encuenta los lineamientos que se dan en C.21.3.3 acerca de la resistencia a cortante para las vigas y columnas del sistemaestructural de resistencia sísmica; el factor multiplicador del caso sísmico en cada una de las dos direcciones, contiene:para las vigas 2 veces EX ó EY, y para las columnas obedeciendo al factor de sobre-resistencia es 3 veces EX ó EY. 6 ANÁLISIS DE LA ESTRUCTURA

Dentro del análisis de la estructura, se realiza la determinación de las fuerzas (cortante, momento y torsión), giros ydesplazamientos que actúan en cada uno de los elementos de la estructura teniendo en cuenta su configuración dentrodel modelo tridimensional, el análisis se realiza para cada una de las combinaciones de carga enuncidas anteriormente.

El análisis sísmico se llevo acabo mediante el método de la fuerza horizontal equivalente; para la representación de losmovimientos sísmicos se utilizó el procedimiento de asignación de fuerzas sísmicas en cada una de sus columnas. Eneste análisis se evaluó la deriva en algunos ejes verticales de las columnas, tal como lo permite la metodología descritaen A.6.3.1.2 de la NSR-10

Se presenta a partir de lo anterior los resultados obtenidos del análisis del modelo estructural. Consideramos covenientepresentar unas figuras de los diagramas de momento de diferentes combiancones.

8 DESPLAZAMIENTOS HORIZONTALES - REVISIÓN DE LA DERIVA

Una vez llevado a cabo el análisis sísmico, se realiza la verificación del cumplimiento del límite de deriva tomando todos losejes verticales de las columnas, tal como lo permite alternativamente A.6.3.1.2 de la NSR-10. La revisión de la deriva se realizacon las combinaciones de carga presentadas en la sección 4.4, las cuales incluyen la fuerza sísmica sin reducción delcoeficiente de disipación de energía R, y que fueron evaluadas a partir de la demanda del sismo aplicado en los respectivosejes verticales de cada elemnto y calculado con el coeficiente de Importancia I =1.0.

 A continuación se presentan las tablas que contienen el chequeo de los límites de deriva.

9 DISEÑO DE LOS ELEMENTOS DEL SISTEMA DE RESISTENCIA SÍSMICA

9.1 CAPACIDAD DE DISIPACIÓN DE ENERGÍA Y DEFINICIÓN DEL COEFICIENTE R

De acuerdo como lo designa la NSR-10 en se debe definir un valor de R para la estructura, de acuerdo al sistema estructuralque corresponde y de acuerdo al mejor criterio.

a. IRREGULARIDAD EN ALTURA:  según la tabla A.3-7 (irregularidades en altura) la estructura podría presentarirregularidades en altura. Por lo tanto, ∅ = 0.9.

b. IRREGULARIDAD EN PLANTA: De acuerdo a la arquitectura en planta del edificio, éste podría presentar una irregularidaden planta, por tanto se concluye que el valor a signar a ∅ es 0.1.

c.  AUSENCIA DE REDUNDANCIA EN EL SISTEMA ESTRUCTURAL DE RESISTENCIA SÍSMICA: de acuerdo con lo queprescribe A.3.3.8.2, para edificaciones DMO, Se asignó un valor igual a ( ∅  = 0.75) ya que el sistema estructural deresistencia sísmica lo componen dos o más vanos compuestos y están localizados en la periferia a ambos lados de laplanta en las dos direcciones principales aun asi en algunos de dichs pórticos no existe una conformación de diafragmasque permita un mejor amarre entre columnas.

= 0.9 × 0.9 × 0.75 × 0.9 × 5.0 

= 2.73
