El Servei d’Ocupació de Catalunya (SOC), la Xarxa EURES i la Universitat Politècnica de

Catalunya (UPC) organitzen dues jornades de selecció de professionals del Sector TIC que

tindran lloc al Campus Nord de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, els dies 16 i 17 de

novembre.

Empreses de la Regió d’Öresund (entre Dinamarca i Suècia), Estònia (Skype) i Alemanya,

entrevistaran professionals del sector per cobrir les seves ofertes de treball. En algun dels

casos, assessors EURES d’aquests països faran les entrevistes en nom de les empreses.

La data límit per enviar candidatures és el 12 de novembre de 2012.

The Core Library team at Skype is looking for passionate, team‐oriented and self‐motivated software

engineer to help us to improve media transport and topology area.

Media transport has huge effect on audio and video call quality perceived by end users. By improving

this area your work will have big positive impact on millions of Skype users experience. As Principal

Software Engineer you would be responsible technical design decisions, architecture choices and acting

As center of competence for Powertrain Software‐, Function‐Development and Systemintegration, AVL

Software & Functions at its location Regensburg (Bavaria, Germany) is looking for the following support:


Responsibility

Implementation of hardware‐related Software components ("low level software") on embedded systems

Development and implementation of automotive Powertrain Software based on functional specifications

Coordination of SW Design and software architecture requirements with OEMs

Your profile

Study of electrical engineering or computer science

Experience with real time operating system (for example, OSEK)

Basic knowledge of software design methods

Knowledge of programming of hardware‐related software components (drivers, etc.) for embedded systems in C, C++

Communication and teamwork skills

High analytical and conceptual abilities

Good English skills

Personality is more than anything else!

Starting salary: 35.000 Euro/year

Embedded Software and Software Development

Development of technological software innovations

Requirements Management and specification of requirements according to automotive development standards

Software Architecture, Software Design and Re‐Engineering

Continuous development and improvement of test methods, code, architecture, tools and techniques

Quality Management for software and collaboration with the development team to resolve the issues

Your profile:

University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent field of studies

First practical experience in Requirements Management and Testing

Required: experience in Software Development in C or C++ or C#, microcontroller or DSP‐Programming

Required: understanding of the complete software development and test lifecycle, as well as the knowledge about system testing and ideally integration tests

Ideally: knowledge about automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN or Flexray)

Very good English skills Basic German language skills and / or the interest to learn German as a foreign language Willingness to work and live in Germany (long‐term)

Proper record of all formal testing activities according to the quality standards (technical specifications, requirements specifications, product documentation)

Your profile:

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or Mechatronical Engineering, Computational Engineering or equivalent field of studies

Strong proven interest and knowhow in Automation, Mechatronics and / or Automotive Engineering

Required: experience in and / or knowhow of motor interfaces, Software and Systems Validation at a HIL, network technologies and SPS‐programming

Very good English skills
