P uede ser que el templo se vea co-mo un templo Ca-

tólico o que tienen allí una imagen de la Virgen de Guadalupe o de otros Santos Católi-cos. También puede ser que el pastor se viste como sacerdote y que allí dan ‘Misas’. Nada de esto garantiza que son Católicos verdaderos en co-munión con el Papa Francisco.

Tristemente, hay un numero creciente de sectas nuevas que insisten que son 'Católicas' pero recha-zan la autoridad del Papa y las demás doctrinas Católi-cas. Confunden a la gente no instruida que va en busca de los Sacramentos de la Iglesia.

¡Cuidado con aquellas sectas! Y dese cuenta: un Ca-tólico debe asistir a Misa y recibir los Sacramentos so-lamente en una parroquia ‘registrada’ con la Iglesia Católica, Apostólica y Romana. NEW MASS SCHEDULE JULY 1, 2018

S UNDAY, JULY 1, 2018, the Sunday Mass schedule will be as follows:

7:00 a.m. Spanish (church) 10:00 a.m. English (church) 1:00 p.m. Spanish (church)

Confessions will be heard before the Mass.

I made this proposal one year ago. I invited parishioners to write me expressing their opinion about it. The re-sponse was overwhelmingly positive. There was only one letter that opposed it. Since then, we have repaved the parking lot and expanded it. Stricklin-Snively Mortuary continues to graciously allow parishioners to use their parking lot. We are in negotiations with the management company of a nearby property about the Sunday use of a portion of their parking lot. We are hoping for a positive outcome.

In short, for a variety of reasons, it is simply no longer feasible to maintain the 11 o’clock Mass in the school hall. Despite the ease of parking, this Mass is not self-sustaining as evidenced by the consistently low collection amounts (see chart below).

Communion classes for children 7 to 12 years of age. Everyone is wel-come.

Bring the $25 initial regis-tration fee and the child’s official baptismal certifi-cate (if possible). Don’t delay in order to assure that your child has a place in these First Communion classes. Space is limited.
