Cuando el verbo principal está en
pasado (PRETÉRITO, IMPERFECTO,
P. PERFECTO) o condicional en los
contextos que requieren
subjuntivo:
USOS DEL IMPERFECTO DE SUBJUNTIVO
![Page 4: Impefecto de subjuntivo](https://reader035.vdocumento.com/reader035/viewer/2022080911/55cf84c2bb61eb52648b4648/html5/thumbnails/4.jpg)
Para pedir, sugerir, recomendar o plantear objetivos (all imposisitons of will) en oraciones subordinadas con sujeto distinto, usamos el modo subjuntivo.
You indicate that you wanted, suggested or proposed something using the indicative (past or conditional tenses) and the wanted, suggested or proposed thing goes in the clause in the Imperfecto de subjuctivo: El agente nos recomendó que fuéramos a Cuba de
1. PLANTEAR UN OBJETIVO:

También usamos el Imperfecto de
subjuntivo para pedir deseos
improbables o imposibles con la
expresión OJALÁ:
¡Ojalá estuviéramos en verano!
¡Ojalá tuviera una casa en la playa!
¡Ojalá fuera millonario!
OJALÁ…

El verbo principal está en presente o pasado pero la información comentada se refiere al pasado: When you comment some information expressing
any kind of emotion (fear, joy, pity, pleasure, etc); or when you doubt or deny some information the subjunctive is used in the subordinate clauses.
You indicate the emotion, doubt or deny in indicative (present or past tenses) and use the Imperfecto de subjuntivo to mention the information you are commenting: Es una lástima que estuvieras enfermo durante las

1. CONDICIONALES POSIBLES O REALES
EJEMPLOS:

2. ORACIONES CONDICIONALES PROBABLES O IRREALES:
