El Grupo Paloma es una empresa familiar

que comenzó su andadura empresarial

en 1968. En un principio producíamos y

vendíamos pequeñas cantidades de tomate

a mercado nacional y hoy día exportamos

tomate de diversos tipos, uva sin semilla,

melocotón, nectarina y granada a toda

Europa. Nuestras explotaciones y centrales

de hortofrutícolas están situadas en la franja

costera existente entre Águilas, Lorca y

Mazarrón, en la Región de Murcia y, abarcan

1.250 Has aprox de cultivo y más de 118.000

metros cuadrados de instalaciones en

centrales hortofrutícolas.

Paloma Group is a family-owned

company which started out in the

business in 1968. At first, we produced

and sold small amounts of tomatoes to

the national market, and we currently

export tomatoes of different types,

seedless grapes, peaches, nectarines

and pomegranates to all Europe. Our

farms and fruit and vegetable plants are

located on the coastal strip between

Águilas, Lorca and Mazarrón, in the

Region of Murcia, and they include

approximately 1,250 Has of cultivation

and more than 118,000 square metres of

facilities in fruit and vegetable plants.

The quality and excellence in our products is the fundamental base of our management,

and it has been acknowledged with the certification in accordance with the

Globalgap protocol with regard to all our cultivated farms and with the BRC and IFS certifications with regard to our three fruit

and vegetable plants.

SemilleroSeedbedEl 100% de nuestra comercialización es producción

propia, que se inicia en nuestros semilleros de

alto nivel tecnológico, permitiendo seleccionar

automáticamente las condiciones de luz,

temperatura, humedad relativa, riegos y control

fitosanitario, en cada una de las 16 secciones en

las que se divide este grupo de invernaderos de

15.000 metros cuadrados. Toda nuestra planta está

certificada con trazabilidad desde su siembra.

100% of our commercialised products are our own

production, which begins in our seedbeds of a high

technological level, which allow to automatically

select the conditions of light, temperature, relative

humidity, risks and phytosanitary control, in each of

the 16 sections in which this group of greenhouses

of 15,000 square metres is divided. All our plants

are certified with traceability since they are sown.

ProducciónProductionLa producción de nuestra empresa hortofrutícola se divide en un

50% de tomate y, el resto -por orden creciente de producción-

son uva de mesa, nectarina, granada y melocotón, y otros

producto en experimentación.

The production of our fruit and vegetable company is divided

into 50% of tomatoes, and the rest –in increasing order of

production- are table grapes, nectarines, pomegranates and

peaches, and other products which are being experimented.

I+DContamos con un departamento propio de investigación y desarrollo de nuevas técnicas de cultivo, orientadas a conseguir mayor sabor en nuestros productos.

Realizamos Investigaciones anuales en colaboración con las distintas casas de semillas y buaders para el desarrollo de nuevos productos.

R&DWe have our own research and development department with new cultivation techniques, focused on the achievement of a greater taste in our products.

We carry out an annual research in co-operation with the different firms of seeds and buaders for the development of new products.

ProductosProductsEn la actualidad el Grupo Paloma se centra en

los siguientes productos en fresco: tomate liso,

tomate en rama, tomate pera, tomate cherry pera

en rama, tomate cocktail, uva de mesa sin semilla

roja y negra, nectarina de carne blanca y amarilla,

melocotón de carne amarilla y granada.

Currently, the Paloma Group focuses on the

following fresh products: smooth tomato, vine

tomato, plum tomato, vine plum cherry tomato,

cocktail tomato, seedless table grape (red and

black), nectarine with white and yellow flesh, peach

with yellow flesh and pomegranate.

El tomate es el origen de nuestro negocio y la uva de mesa es uno de nuestros productos cuya producción ha crecido en los últimos años. Asimismo, ha habido una gran apuesta por la renovación y ampliación de los cultivos de nectarino y granado.

The tomato is the origin of our business and the table grape is one of our products whose production has increased in the latest years. Furthermore, we have greatly gone for the renewal and enlargement of the cultivation of nectarine and pomegranate trees.

AlmacénWarehouseTenemos tres almacenes, dos de ellos son centrales

de manipulación, envasado, almacenamiento y

distribución, y la otra central, está únicamente

destinada a almacenamiento. El número de

personas destinado a la realización y gestión

de dichas tareas, es por término medio, de 500

personas, muy estables a lo largo del año ya que las

producciones se enlazan unas con otras.

We have three warehouses, two of them are

handling, packaging, storage and distribution

plants, and the other one is exclusively used for

storage. The number of people for the performance

and management of those tasks is, on average,

500 people, very stable throughout the year, as

productions are interconnected.

los rendimientos agronómicos, así

como el protocolo de autocontrol

fitosanitario implantado en la

empresa.

We guarantee that all our products

are managed in all their different

stages of production and handling

under high technical criteria of self-

control which ensure the quality and

safety of our products.

In the analysis laboratory, the

conditions of water, soil, fertilisers,

and the presence of remains of

pesticides are analysed- with the

purpose of optimising processes

and improving agronomic

performance, together with the

protocol of phytosanitary self-control

implemented in the company.
