Water in the desert

In any ecosystem water is necessary for life, but in the desert is more important because it is hard to find.

Sources of water:

The rain Rivers and streams Marshes.

The rainThe rain is uncommon and are characterized by very strong and short-lived.

Sometimes rainwater passes through several of the layers forming the ground and remains in one of them.

Rivers and streamsAnother way in which water is found in rivers and streams. They crawl from the rain that falls in the desert.

Other sources of waterOther sources of water are called marshes, sites that are formed when a river runs underground and comes to the surface in places where the ground is lower.
