EIDE es un centro de formación privado especializado en la enseñanza de Idiomas, Hostelería, Turismo y Gestión de Hotel fundado en 1976. Su experiencia y profesionalidad se han visto re-conocidas por entidades como el Departamento de Educación y el Departamento de Empleo del Gobierno Vasco (equivalentes autonómicos de los Ministerios de Educación y Empleo estatales), por Cambridge English y el Instituto Cervantes.

EIDE is a private school specialized in language, tourism and hospitality. Founded in 1976, its experience and professionalism have been recognized by organizations and institutions such as the Education and Employment Department of the Basque Country (equivalent to the Spanish Ministries of Education and Employment), Cambridge English or the Instituto Cervantes.

The Hospitality and Tourism school was founded in 1989. Since then, EIDE has trained highly qua-lified professionals in the Hospitality and Travel Industry. Estos estudios van dirigidos a aquellos que deseen desarrollar una carrera profesional en el sector turístico y hotelero, con un perfil comunicativo, que les guste el trato con la gente, viajar y conocer otras culturas.

La duración del ciclo son 2 cursos escolares, durante los cuales se imparten las siguientes asignaturas:

Los alumnos que realicen el Ciclo Superior en Gestión de Alojamientos Turísticos tienen acceso directo a la UNIVERSIDAD sin necesidad de prueba de acceso. La nota de acceso a la universidad será la media de todo el ciclo. Se podrán convalidar hasta 60 créditos en Grados Universitarios relacionados con Turismo, Economía, Administración de Empresas y Lengua.

El curso dura de 745 a 1.245 horas y se desarrolla en 9 meses.

El curso se imparte en inglés. Nivel de inglés requerido: B2. Nivel de español requerido: A2. Se aceptarán estudiantes sin conocimientos o con menor nivel de español. Los estudiantes con menor nivel de español o sin conocimientos del idioma, deberán realizar un curso de español previo en EIDE.

Se trata de un curso dirigido a personas amantes de la gastronomía que quieran convertirse en cocineros profesionales o chefs. Es un curso muy práctico, que se centra en la adquisición de las competencias clave para que los alumnos puedan desarrollar la profesión de cocinero o chef al terminar la formación. Al tratarse de un curso corto, permite a los alumnos incorporarse al mercado laboral en muy poco tiempo. El número de alumnos por clase es un máximo de 15, lo que permite a los estudiantes aprovechar el curso al 100%.

Se prepara a los estudiantes para ser cocineros o chefs y desarrollar su actividad profesional empresas de hostelería de todos los tamaños, tanto restaurantes como hoteles, así como a gestionar su propio restaurante.

El curso dura 820 horas y se desarrolla en 7 meses, de Enero a Julio. Durante los 7 meses, realizan prácticas reales en el restaurante de EIDE todos los días y 80 horas en hoteles y restaurantes de la zona al finalizar el curso.

Los estudiantes que terminen este curso y que posean un título de bachillerato o equivalente, pueden realizar el Ciclo Superior en Gestión de Alojamientos Turísticos en EIDE, que se imparte en 2 modalidades: español o inglés.

This course is aimed at gastronomy lovers who want to become professional cooks or chefs. It is a very practical course, focused on the acquisition of main competences. Thanks to this, students can work as professionals once they finish this course. The maximum number of students per class is 15, which allows students to make the most of the course.

Students are prepared to become chefs or professional cooks and to develop their career in restaurants and hotels of different sizes, as well as to manage their own small restaurant.

The course lasts 820 hours and is held over 7 months, from January to July. During 7 months, they are trained in EIDE’s own professional kitchen and restaurant. At the end of the course they do 80-hour internships in hotels and restaurants.

Students who finish this course and who already have a High School certificate or the equivalent can enter the Higher Studies in Hospitality Management at EIDE, held in Spanish or English language.
