CLIPPER
Clipper are circuits which can clip off or removes
unwanted portion of the input wave form without distorting
the rest of the wave form.
It is also known as Limiter, Slicers .
EXAMPLE
It is used for Amplitude limiting and Noise elimination.

The series clipper is defined as one where
diode is in series with the load, while the shunt
clipper has the diode in a branch parallel to the
load.
