IntroductionUtilization of the family garden in Denpasar City is currently not widelyused to support family food independence. On the other hand, from theservice activities that have been carried out by the Faculty of Agriculture,Udayana University, it is known that the interest of housewives to utilizethe yard for vegetable cultivation is very high. However, with the existingtechnology, it is still quite difficult to do by housewives because it is stilldone semi-conventionally. Therefore, a strategy is needed, namely tochange the yard utilization system for conventional vegetable cultivationinto a hydroponic cultivation system. The aim of this community serviceis to optimally utilize the yard for vegetable cultivation using hydroponictechnology to achieve household food independence. This communityservice has the following output targets; facilitating the transfer oftechnology, the hydroponic system in vegetable cultivation in the yard tohousewives in Denpasar City.
