1. Intervals (on-condition or hardtime) and the related manhour times are based on normal operation. The manhour time specified is the time you need to do all the services prescribed for a particularinterval. Change the hardtime interval if your lubricants are contaminated or if you are operating the
equipment under adverse operating conditions, including longer-than-usual operating hours. The hardtime interval may be extended during periods of low activity. If extended, adequate preservation
precautions must be taken.
2. The lowest level of maintenance authorized to lubricate a point is indicated by one of the followingsymbols as appropriate: Operator/Crew (C) or Field Maintenance (F).
3. The time specified is the time required to perform all services at the particular interval (on-condition orhardtime).

4. This LO is for Crew (C) or Field Maintenance (F). Lube intervals (on-condition or hardtime) are basedon normal operation. Lube more during constant use, and less during inactive periods. Use correctgrade of lubricant for seasonal temperature expected.
5. Dashed leader lines (---) used in illustrations of lubrication points indicate that lubrication is required onboth sides of the machine.
6. Before you start your lube service:
7. Oil filters shall be serviced/cleaned/changed as applicable:
a. When they are known to be contaminated or clogged.

8. The D7R Dozers are not enrolled in the Army Oil Analysis Program (AOAP). HARDTIME INTERVALSAPPLY.
9. For equipment under manufacturers warranty, hardtime oil service intervals shall be followed.
Intervals shall be shortened if lubricants are known to be contaminated or if operation is under adverseconditions (i.e., longer-than-usual operating hours, extended idling periods, extreme dust).
10. For Arctic operation, refer to FM 9-207, Operation and Maintenance of Ordnance Materiel in Cold
