Actividad 1: Nell’s book
Para hacer esta actividad es necesario que veáis primero el siguiente vídeo: https://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/english/features/childrens-stories/nellsbooksUna vez que ya lo hayáis visto, podéis comenzar con las actividades.
1. Look at the pictures. What do you think?Este ejercicio no es necesario que lo escribáis, simplemente son algunas preguntas para que reflexionéis sobre el video.
2. Who says it?Leéis los bocadillos y en el cuadro que aparece en cada uno de ellos tenéis que escribiruna N si esa frase la dijo Nell o una S si lo dijo Saffron.
3. Find and circle the words. Then label the pictures.Buscáis las palabras correspondientes a los dibujos en la sopa de letras y escribís los nombres debajo de cada dibujo.
4. Choose and circle the correct word.Rodeáis en cada oración el posesivo correspondiente.
5. Order the story.Ordenáis la historia poniendo el número correspondiente.
6. Draw a cover.Diseñáis una portada para el libro de Nell.
Actividad 2: Comparatives and superlatives
1. Find and write. Buscáis en el texto los adjetivos que aparecen tanto en forma comparativa como superlativa y los escribís en el cuadro.
2. Where does it go?Clasificáis los adjetivos que aparecen en el ejercicio según tengan una sílaba, dos sílabas y terminan en y o dos o más sílabas. Escribís además la forma correspondiente en comparativo y superlativo.
3. What’s the order?
Escribís frases como en el ejemplo que contengan las palabras que se os proporcionan.
4. Write and draw.Dibujáis a vuestra familia y al lado escribís frases que las que comparéis a los distintos miembros. Ej: My dad is faster than my brother. I am the tallest in my family.
Actividad 3: Present simple
1. Complete these sentences with the present simple tense of the verbs in brackets.Poneis el verbo en la forma correcta sin olvidaros de la s en las personas “especiales”.
2. Change the sentences from affirmative into negative.Escribís estas oraciones en forma negativa.
3. Write the negative and the interrogative formsEscribís la forma interrogativa y la negativa.
4. Change the verb in the correct form.Igual que en primer ejercicio.
Actividad 4: Present continuous
1. Complete the sentences with the present continuous of the verbs in brackets.Completáis las frases con el verbo que os dan. Recordad que estamos trabajando en esta ficha con el presente continuo, por lo tanto debemos escribir el verbo TO BE en su forma correspondiente seguido del verbo principal terminado en ING. Ej: Mary is talking to Mark.
2. Complete the sentences with the present continuous of the verbs in brackets.Tenéis que hacer lo mismo que en el ejercicio anterior pero en este caso las frases son negativas.
3. Make complete interrogative sentences.Con las palabras que os dan tenéis que hacer una frase interrogativa. La primera os la hago yo a modo de ejemplo: Is Mark driving to work?
Actividad 5: Present simple negative and interrogative

Completáis las oraciones con las palabra que os dan. Fijaos bien si es interrogativa o negativa.
2. Write negative sentences with the words in the box. You can use the words more than once.Escribís frases negativas utilizando las palabra que os dan y escogiendo una de la caja.Las palabras de la caja se pueden repetir.

Comparatives and superlatives
1. Read and find.
Find the comparative and superlative adjectives and write them in the boxes.
This is my family. I am taller than my brother and sister but my
dad is the tallest. My mum is a vet and my dad is a teacher. I
think being a vet is more interesting than being a teacher
because you work with animals. I want to be an astronaut – I
think this is the most interesting job! Being a vet is easier than
being a teacher though, because teachers have to correct lots
of homework. My job is the easiest – I’m a student!
