Impermeabilidad, evitando cualquier filtracin y proporcionandoun sellado adecuado.Waterproofing, preventing leaks and providing a proper seal.

Resistencia, para soportar sin roturas ni excesivo desgaste losefectos de impacto y abrasin debidos al trfico.Resistance, to bear without crack or excessive wear the effectof impact and abrasion due to traffic.

Se componen de una estructura de acero recubierta concaucho vulcanizado que permite la absorcin de los movimientos decontraccin y dilatacin de los tableros de puente.

They consist of a steel structure covered with vulcanized rubber, allowing the absorption of contractionand expansion movement of the bridge decks.

Los mdulos se fijan con pernos de anclaje a los bordes de la estructura mediante resinas epoxi yson reforzados con arandelas y tuercas autoblocantes.

The module edges are fixed with bolts using epoxy resins, and are reinforced with washers and

locking nuts.

El diseo de cada tipo de junta ha sido realizado para soportar largos ciclos de carga (compresin dilatacin) as como para la absorcin de los esfuerzos, disminuyendo de esta manera su transmisin a lossistemas de anclaje.

Each Joint has been designed to withstand long loading cycles (compression-expansion), as well as tosupport the absorption of effort, reducing force transmission to anchor system.
